Tiger Woods won two of the first three FedExCups. But with one week to go in the 2010 regular season, there no strong guarantee that the defending champion gets a shot at FedExCup third title win this year.

After finishing tied for 28th at the PGA Championship, Woods is 108th place in FedExCup points. Given the top 125 of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and to earn a spot at the Barclays, the first of four playoff events, Woods seems to be in good shape.

But because he did not play this week at Wyndham Championship – the last regular season event to earn points – Woods can be mathematically reduced to 132nd in the rankings, depending on how others respond to Sedgefield. According to PGA TOUR FedExCup expert Kin Lo, only the players ranked 96th or better mathematically safe and guaranteed, regardless of finish in the top 125 The final leaderboard at Wyndham.

Still, Tiger should not be too much sweat. According to Lo, each player ranked 120th or better are likely the playoffs it.

Last year, the 125th player in FedExCup points after the Wyndham Championship was Troy Matteson, who had 354 points. Lo expects this number to be higher this year, probably between 387 and 395 points. Wyndham going into this week, Michael Letzig is sitting on the 125th place with 366 points.

Woods currently has 431 points.

Woods is not the only player risks his Playoffs place by not playing this week. Bill Lunde (97th), the American Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin (107th) and Ben Curtis (110th) join Woods as the four players not in the Wyndham field that could fall from the top 125, according to the different scenarios.

Looking at the players near the line 125th bubble will be a major story this week. Of the 100 players ranked between 76 and 175 in FedExCup points, only 10 did not play in the Wyndham. A year ago, five players outside the top 125 going into Wyndham made the playoffs because of their success at Sedgefield.

Other scenarios:

• Each player, regardless of the current position in the FedExCup standings, will be inside the top 80 by asserting the 500 FedExCup points that go with winning the Wyndham.

• Each player currently ranked 126th through 142nd qualify for the playoffs with a top-10 finish at Wyndham.

• Joe Durant, currently ranked 153rd in points could climb the top 125 with a top-five finish. Everyone behind him – Including notables such as Trevor Immelman, Fred Couples and Rocco Mediate – need to finish top four or better, depending on the scenario.

I need help with the first chapter of my novel?

I write this book for my creative writing class and I'm having trouble getting it on paper. i need help on chapter one … heres what its about. There is this high school sophomore, Ryan, and he lived with his father Alan. Ryan's mother left when one year ago (The story is based on the present) he is friends with Megan (she is a goodie goodie, and is really smart) and TJ (he is the bad guy and he has a dark past in foster care). Megan and TJ are not friends and do not interact in the story. Ryan's mother tries to contact him and wants to be back in his life, but Ryan did not forgaven for leaving him and his father behind. I just need help, perhaps an outline of the events in this chapter, and opening lines, something catchy that draws the reader in.

hon well that sounds like a great story. Problem is that if I tell you how to start then my writing is not yours. Start by placing all his main events in point form on a piece of paper. Then take each point and expand on it in point form again. Then expand on all characters.
