The Importance of Currency Trading Research
Here we look at the importance of currency research and how to implement a trading plan for big profits the long term.
Currency trading research falls into specific categories – currency research before you trade, traders conducting research for a sales signals and research for entrepreneurs who want confirmation for their own trade.

Currency Trading Research – Before you begin
All traders need to know the basics, you would not try to car without driving lessons, and neither should you try to trade currencies without a bit of study.
There are many good books on the market and here we give some books you might like to consider.
Good books to read include all of Larry Williams, Jake Bernstein and Ken Roberts, while not specifically for foreign exchange their easy to read and digest and give you an idea of what marketing is all about.
You also need some good books on trading psychology to read and no better place to start than Jack Shwagers Market Wizards and New Market Wizards by a number of stories of some of the big traders of all time, including meeting: Ed sekoyta, Richard Dennis and the famous turtle traders. These books are required reading for every entrepreneur.
Other good books on psychology include those by Alexander Elder and Dr Van Tharpe
And the classic memories of a stock operator by Edwin Le feuvre
Good general reference works to have been both technical and fundamental market analysis by Jack Shwager again.
Currency Trading Research – Following the mechanical signals
Many traders like to follow currency research in the form of newsletters and currency trading systems suppliers and then responding to the signals they provide.
If you do this to make sure you:
1. Have full confidence in the method they use generate the signals and know so much about logic as you can.
2. You should also study market history to see how successful trades and make sure you are satisfied the risk to reward.
3. Keep in mind when following signals or trades you need to follow this up and this means that full confidence in the method.
Currency Trading Research – To help with Entry & Exit Levels
If you do not want to follow someone else and want to make your own trades then there is plenty of currency trading research services on the net.
There are services you can pay, but much of it is freely available and in many cases, this information is the best.
Many of the major brokers and banks have large research and both technical and fundamental factors that influence currency movements.
Do a search and you'll be able good for daily, weekly and monthly currency research finding.
A word of warning on Currency Trading Research!
The amount of currency trading research on the net is large and many traders feel that the more research they have the better and try to use 5, 10 or even more different services to help them with their trading partners.
The result? – They end up with too much information, much of it contradictory and are confused and unsure what to do.
The best way to currency trading research as you trade for yourself is only a few services that monitor your trading style to display and use them as a filter for your own trades.
Currency Research – to help make your trading profitable
If you just following signals or actions of someone else, you spend time doing your homework, So you have the confidence to transact with discipline.
Research is needed, whether the method is entirely mechanical or reasons given for the trades.
For most of this type of research you need to monitor all transactions, not just a few! Otherwise you miss the best opportunity and your track record will not match with those of the service you bought.
The real problem for the currency trader who want to research just help them to acknowledge their own trade in material that is the massive volume of research available.
You must be selective and just a few – too many to confuse you and give you conflicting information.
As mentioned there is no need to pay, many banks and brokers offer a large research and it's completely free and in many cases better than the paid services.
