I have all porcelain ceramic tiles throughout the house. Can they get scratched with chairs / beds and other furnitures sitting directly on top of the porcealin ceramic tiles? If we move / slide chairs will it harm the tile? I believe these tiles are rated either 4 or 5 in the toughness scale.
Why shouldn’t we walk on it with shoes?
porcelain does scratch. I don’t know that anything that says it’s toughness will keep it from scratching altogether. There are things you can buy to put on the bottom of your furniture, dressers, tables, etc. that is like soft rug on the bottom, slides easily, and doesn’t scratch when you move things. I suspect you and your visitors will be wearing socks to walk on this flooring so keep a mat at the door for shoes..
