Smart women, American Girl ®, and building your brand
A few weeks ago, I took a vacation with my family to New York City. While there, we visited the American Girl ® store. My daughter Jenna keeps this store, and it's easy to understand why so many girls are attracted to this brand. When you enter the store, the "experience" begins. This got me thinking how smart women can learn how American Girl ® a business image or brand that takes to build.
If you are a woman entrepreneur, your goal is to create brand awareness with your ideal customer. It is essential that you have a marketing "mantra" to develop that communicates with people on a continuous basis the benefits you offer your customers and how they will be processed or better off after they work with you.
American Girl ® does this beautifully. They have a unique product. It is not just a doll. You have over 20 choices of dolls to choose from, and you can pop the look and personality. For example, you can create a doll that sports (Jenna's favorite), nature, or love a certain historical period. The entire store is set up so you can experience all the dolls in different settings and choose exactly what is perfect for you.
Here are a few tips you can use your brand for your business boost. These are effective, or you just started or have been in business for a few years.
1. Create a logo – What is it that for your customers? Choose colors and a logo that represents your company. For example, my Marketing has a lavender and ivory color scheme, and my logo is the nautilus shell because I believe the nautilus shell is a perfect reproduction of the life of a woman. The American Girl ®, the famous star image, if they want every girl to know that a star, no matter who she is or what her preferences.
. 2 Create an "experience" – Think about the process with your customers. Is it pleasant and relaxing? For example, when a lawyer, think about what you can do to make their visit memorable. Perhaps serving their drink in a beautiful glass with a colorful, thick napkin (perhaps with your logo?). From the first phone call or meeting, your stand-out style to develop a lasting memory about people.
3. Give them what they want – make sure the services you offer are what customers want, not what you want to to serve them. When I first started my wife Success circles about five years ago, I offered a whole day, one-time-per-month Success Circle. I had women who participated in the entire Circle days, but most women can not spend a whole day in this process. Guess what? I offered what I wanted them to have not what they wanted. Once I have a half day program, women flocked to the circles. I had to change to make what they wanted and give them the benefits and the transformation they sought.
Now some of you reading this and thinking: "I just started, Joy. I am a solo entrepreneur or even close to an American Girl ®." If an American girl doll is a girl of the year you are still allowed to get them pierced?
I really want my American Girl doll for her ears pierced! All my american girl dolls girl of the year or a historical doll. You can still go and get them pierced?
At American Girl Place Chicago, they will have Peirce ears.Then employees dolls you can buy different earrings into the ears.Ivy and Elizabeth both earings.I would not take a needle and prick the doll in your ear because it might ruin your doll.Good Luck!
