Nissan Skyline Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled a Skyline Coupe to be released in Japan in the autumn of this year at an event held on April 24, 2007 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Skyline. A right drive version was unveiled for the first time at this event, while the left-hand drive version of this model previously exhibited the Infiniti G37 Coupe "at the New York Motor Show just this April 2007.
The Nissan Skyline celebrated its 50th anniversary yesterday in royal style event held at a new Tokyo Midtown development. The Skyline, a mid-size car, is available both as a coupe or a sedan body style. Reckoning back to 1957, the Skyline is a legendary car in the Nissan lineup. It comes with a long tradition of performance and driving style that fans around the world by storm.
The opportunity use, Nissan also showed the all-new Skyline coupe in the said event, making his first appearance in Japan. The new Skyline Coupe is scheduled for release in Japan this fall.
Lead Engineers for product development of each generation Skyline, including Shinichiro Sakurai, chief development engineer of the first Skyline model were present in the celebration. The event featured a film presentation that reflected the evolution of the Skyline design, performance and image in the different environments of each generation Skyline.
In addition, a fashion show called the "Skyline GT Collection" commemorative of the anniversary was held in, with twelve of the most popular fashion models, including Yoko Horiuchi. The models were dressed in specially designed outfits, inspired by each generation Skyline.
VIP guests including musician Joe Hisaishi, actor Ken Watanabe, while Major League Baseball player Ichiro sent his congratulations via a video message. Each of these celebrities share a common trait with the Skyline ie they were born in Japan but now gained fame and recognition in the global arena. Hisaishi's latest composition, I Will Be, written for the new TV commercial of the Skyline's, was first by Mai Hisaishi, who also is featured on the commercial.
The Skyline 50th Anniversary exhibition, with each generation Skyline model, is open to the public in Tokyo Midtown Garden to May 6 Also all new Skyline Coupe and the Skyline GT Collection fashion line will be displayed at the Midtown Atrium Wednesday, April 25 through Sunday, May 6 – Nissan.
The current Skyline, equipped with a remarkable title = "Nissan accessories"> Nissan Accessories quality of car parts sold in North America, South Korea, Taiwan and the Middle East as the Infiniti G35. Details are not given by the company, but the car, which is basically the same as the G37 Coupe, seems to be fitted with a 3.7L V6 engine "VQ37VHR" which is equipped with a variable valve timing / lift mechanism.
The front of the car that the emblem on the grill of the American version is Infiniti, while that of domestic version is Nissan. Front mudguards domestic version of the function side marker lamps, which are not found on the American version. The rear view shows off the American version of the Nissan logo, and letters under the logo has changed Infiniti Skyline. In addition, the emblem of the model name for the U.S. version, the G37, while that of domestic version of the 370GT.

I'm trying to see if I can find someone out there who has no memorabilia from the old pizza chain called Ken's Pizza, which I believe it was bought by mazzios. My parents both worked and met first, and they had a pizza from there that Ken's coffee mug broke, and I would like my dad for their birthday get She passed recently. If anyone has any ideas of info. it would be greatly appreciated. I just have no idea where in the world to find one. I even checked ebay. Thanks!
