Romantic Collecting Dolls

Dolls are romantic and nostalgic, reminds us of happy childhood times. Many makers produce dolls that are very romantic and perfect for collector's pieces or even romantic gifts for a lover or spouse.
And romance is big news this day. The Twilight Saga vampires took from the hands of merchants and the shock and horror in the world of swooning teenage girls who see romantic heroes that once public saw blood-sucking creatures of the night. Since most dolls are made with little girls in mind, it's no surprise that romance is such a strong theme, princesses weddings and fairy tales are the stuff of the dream of every little girl and it's a game they are playing for centuries.
Even the most modern series of dolls – Barbie, of course The most obvious example – to meet this desire for a perfect match with a perfect man, just like Ken. The romantic mode where you can find many Barbie are and, if you wish, you could make this the focus of a very worthwhile collection.
There are also plenty of artists and companies that are very romantic dolls aimed at Collectors – prices may be in the hundreds of dollars. Some excellent examples can be found in romantic dolls made by Ashton Drake and based on the fantasy art of Nene Thomas, whose paintings transport the viewer to fantasy worlds of princesses, Indians and fantasy brides. These are expensive collector's items and as with most collections, It is worth to sites like eBay to see if you can catch all the bargains.
