Lifelike Baby Dolls
After examining a lot I am amazed at the abundance and diversity of unique dolls produced these days. Different types of contemporary dolls can be purchased, eg fashion type, character type, types for young children, and dolls for infants. The purpose of this writeup is to look at dolls produced by a number of modern pop businesses to compare the products they offer, and examine how each company thinks the feeling of "realistic" in the production of realistic baby dolls.
The doll companies I studied were Adora, Ashton Drake, American Girl, Corolle, Effanbee, Madame Alexander Doll and Middleton. An overview of the dolls produced by companies let us introduce you to many kinds of dolls. Furthermore, it reveals more than one interpretation of "realism." Realistic looking baby dolls designed to charm young children are uniquely different from real life looking baby dolls for adults to captivate.
All of the companies studied modern pop produce dolls for children to play except one. Ashton Drake dolls seem fundamentally produced as a collectable for adults. The dolls made by other contemporary pop companies seem the same fundamental attributes. For a child, "real" is not only what the doll looks like. How the child can relate to the doll, and the how the use of other senses is important is important. The way you touch the doll feel is very important, as is the right size. It is essential that the doll is soft and nice to cuddle, especially the dolls marketed towards young babies 0 +. Smell is also very important. Realistic baby dolls made for children, the smell baby powder added to the vinyl. Does anyone know where to find a porcelain doll called the Apache tear, I think Ashton Drake?
I know it's a young Indian girl kneeling with her hands up, draped in her hands a necklace with the holy tear on Apache, I know it was released a few years ago, but am not sure what company released it, Ashton Drake or Franklin Mint would be. I am not sure if that is the actual name of the doll or not, any help would be appreciated dearly
