Preparing your first child for the new baby's arrival
Include your child from the beginning
Include your child in the arrival of new babies from the very beginning. Tell him or her that they have become a big brother or sister. Make sure you express to your child how important his role in the family will be and the benefits it will have. Ensure your child that you will love him just as much as ever and the new baby, someone else who love him in his. Teach him that he will be loved more than before.
