A Brief History of Teddy Bear and Barbie
Teddy Bear is a cuddly bear and the American president Theodore Roosevelt is the person behind the toy bear, while Barbie is a doll created by Ruth Handler. Both have their own origin and toys are famous in the world.
The history of the teddy bear returns to an event In 1902, when Roosevelt was Mississippi and Louisiana to help their border disputes. While on a yacht in his spare time, he came across a wounded young bear and ordered her mercy killing. This later led to the creation of a stuffed animal toy bear called teddy bear as "Teddy" Roosevelt was the nickname.
Barbie Doll Founded in 1959 by Ruth Handler, who was co-founder of Mattel Fashion. The Barbie doll is named in honor of her daughter – Barbara. While watching her daughter play with paper dolls, Ruth saw the child loves to give than adult roles. At that time, most dolls looked like babies and a few looked like an adult.
Ruth was inspired to a three-dimensional paper dolls adult toy based on the changing clothes, but her husband was not happy with the idea to create. A holiday in Germany changed its mind, however, Ruth saw a German doll named Lilli, based on a comic, she bought three of them, gave one to Barbara and took the other two to Mattel. Ruth had reworked the doll body and gave it a new name – Barbie and her first introduction to the world on the American Toy Fair in New York City in March 1959.
There are several stories that tell who is behind the creation of the teddy bear toy. The most popular story was that the first official toy bear called teddy bear was made by Morris Michtom. He had a candy store in Brooklyn, New York. Rose, his wife was making toys to wear to be sold in the store. Michtom sent a toy bear from Roosevelt and asked permission to use the name of teddy bear and he got a positive response from Roosevelt. There are also stories that he and another company called Butler Brothers, began the mass production of teddy bears, but still no one is sure who made the first teddy bear.
Both toys are known for their start and are the favorite toys of children. Teddy will now be sold and there was a sale of about 350,000 Barbie dolls in the first year of production.

Marketed as "The Doll you love to dress!" She looks like the U.S. Tammy doll, in fact Pedigree got permission to license its copy as long as they changed the name dolls. The first dolls usually have short brunette hair, sorta a bubble-cut style, painted lashes, she is attached to the neck, shoulders and hips. Sold boxed wear "The Weekenders" outfit of a red, white and blue pullover sweater top, jeans and white vinyl shoes. They has many modes that were tagged with a paper tag in 1984 when they went to a fabric tag. Tags with the previous paper were easily destroyed. She has a boyfriend Paul introduced in 1965, a sister Patch (1966) and of course no girl is complete with out of fashion houses, cars and much more to her lifestyle accessories. In 1968 Sindy was given an update eyelashes look real, a twist n 'turn waist, side separation in different style different hair colors. In 1969 a new see through acetate box was introduced.
