Unclaimed Baggage Center was founded in 1970 by Doyle and Sue Owens as a part-time business. Shortly after became a full-time enterprise. In 1978, Owens entered the company and watched it prosper as one of the great 'hidden' bargain centers for savvy shoppers. With a such a wide variety of items, shoppers can be sure to find something they want. There are many great bargains in large selection of store inventory.
In 1995, Bryan Owens, son of the founder, acquired the unclaimed luggage and managed the expansion to the current modern retail space includes more than one city block. The shop has many functions, including a reception for the guests to help and Cups Espresso Cafe serving Starbucks Coffee and Dippin Dots ice cream.
Unclaimed Baggage Center is located in Scottsboro Alabama. This center sells items of undelivered and unclaimed airline baggage. This unique shopping experience, visitors to the lost treasure to buy from around the world.
Found in Jackson County in northeast Alabama, Scottsboro is located on the largest lake in the Tennessee River, Guntersville Lake.
