Why Pregnant Barbie doll is being rocked by controversy
It looks like Barbie's world is rocked by controversy. Currently a Barbie doll depicted as pregnant. This is not an actual Barbie doll, but one of Barbie's friends. This doll friend is called Midge and she is portrayed as being married, and already have another child. The controversy is because many people seem to think that this is a wrong move by Mattel.
Course just as there are opponents of this doll are some people saying that there is nothing wrong with the production of this pregnant Barbie. Now the interesting fact you think of this doll is the detachable tummy where the Barbie doll's baby supposed to be. In all probability many stores will withdraw this Barbie doll, because there are many people who seem opposed to the idea of a little girl doll is portrayed as being ready for a child.
It's hard to know if this interesting move by Mattel is a good idea for the Barbie doll brand is one that girls want to buy. Maybe This is yet another Barbie doll that will become a collector's doll like the Nabisco Oreo Fun Time Barbie after it was withdrawn. Regardless of this fact is the idea behind what the parents see and when their daughters ask why Barbie has a big belly.
While the Mattel Company is not anything to say about the production of this pregnant Barbie friend there are many of items you can find on the Internet and parents who feel this doll may produce some negative ideas in their daughters. The most common problem is that several young girls this doll will feel that it's okay for them to become pregnant as their doll – who is portrayed as a role model – going to be a mummy.
Now this is a valid care if you think your daughter may be misled, but then again this attitude belittles the girls who want to have dolls like this. After all, there are many girls who baby dolls to feed, rock sleep, clean and change their diapers. There are many children who are more aware of how a baby comes into the world as their mother's stomach has shrunk back to a normal size.
With all these events around the children that we can be forgiven if we feel the need to shelter our daughters. But again if our jobs are done well our parents' children Pregnant Barbie will just see it as just a pop and no role model to follow after a disaster.

Barbie, a good role model?
Barbie is a good role model or is she too thin and girls will oblige anerexia? I am working on an editorial for a Language Arts class. This is my subject. Barbie is playing fantasty. Children work their thoughts while playing a teenager or an adult in a small, safe world. I never realized when I was a kid (70's, 80's) Barbie a teenager was. I thought she was a single mother with Skipper. So my Barbie went to work. Now of course there were big balls, movie openings and parties to them, so she could make her beautiful clothes went. Barbie was not married he was her boyfriend Ken. They would sleep together naked, but that's what I knew about sex at the moment. I saw her as an independent woman with big jobs, parties and holidays. She was always the hostess. She was a role model. Yes she is very disproportionate, I made sure my girls know real women can not look that way. My more foo-foo daughter Polly was in bags. Polly's are small, but their bodies are less fortunate. The one so-so alternative. As with anorexia, it is a mental disorder, usually a distorted sense of self and body image. It is treatable, can be well controlled with medication and therapy, the same as other mental disorders or addictions.
