Top 10 Hot Toys your kids want this holiday season
Confused with what you get for Christmas little boy or a girl this? What Zhu Zhu Pets are? Twilight dolls? What would a good gift for my toddler? While this list may not be able to answer any question you, it gives you a good idea of what are the most popular toys this holiday season.
Zhu Zhu Pets
What are they? – Little motorized hamsters.
What makes it hot? – This little hamster on hem at things, make cute little sounds, then zoom off in different directions.
What should I look? – The Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters are the main attraction, but they also have many accessories (such as the hamster wheel and hamster ball) which, when combined, create a big city for small hamster fur-balls bounce around in.
Availability? – Scarce. These are the Tickle Me Elmo's 2009.
Transformers 2 Toys
What do they do? – Based on the blockbuster series about giant robots fighting on earth.
What makes it hot? – Megan Fox and giant robot battles to capture the imagination of both large and small boys alike.
What should I look? – Optimus Prime, one of the "Combiner" Transformers robot sets, Devastator, the ultra cool Transformers Movie Ultimate Bumblebee those two sounds, lighting makes and moves around.
Availability? – Healthy, although some of the more popular characters (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee) is harder to find.
Twilight New Moon Dolls
What do they do? – The "other" hot movie franchise of 2009
What makes it hot? – Robert Pattinson and teenage vampire love the imagination of both younger and older girls alike.
What should I look? – Edward, Jacob, and Bella. The three primary characters listed on the New Moon Twilight movie posters (and any other piece of Twilight merchandise.)
Availability? – A few different lines is for Twilight fans: Specialty manufacturer NECA figures for the enthusiast, Tonner Doll Company dolls for the collector, a Matell Barbie line for everyone! In order from easiest to most difficult to find Barbie, NECA, Tonner.
Chuck My Talking Truck
What is? – A bright red and yellow Tonka truck with a big smile on his face.
What makes it hot? – Chuck speaks more than 40 phrases and sounds, while the built sensors make him ride on with your child as they call him!
What to search? – A large, friendly truck named Chuck. Just do not confuse him with one of his less interactive friends.
Availability? – Healthy
Liv Fashion Dolls
What do they do? – Barbie dolls with a range of varying styles included in the box.
What makes it hot? – Multiple points of articulation for a wide range of poses, styles and interchangeable use of plastic, painted eyes for starters.
What to search? – "Barbie" meets "Bratz" doll with normal proportions.
Availability? – Healthy
2009 Holiday Barbie Doll
What is it? – A new special limited edition Barbie doll.
What makes it hot? – The Holiday Edition Barbies have something extra in the detail and quality department which differs from the standard Barbie line. Not to mention the 2009 Holiday Edition is extra special because it not only celebrates the 2009 holiday season, but the 50th anniversary of the Barbie doll so good!
What should I look? – Deluxe keepsake display box with a holiday twist.
Availability? – Healthy
7 Bakugan Dragonoid of Maxus 1
What is it? – Transformers meets the strategy card games with a dose of Japanese anime.
What makes it hot? – For each child (or adult) who plays or watches Bakugan, Dragonoid the Maxus is a must have. 6 "traps" and a "warrior" to combine a terrifying robotic creature not unlike the Transformers Devastator forms. The nice part is that both the robot and combined form the individual pieces can be used in the deck as well!
What should I look? – A gigantic Bakugan red "robot" with the head of a dragon.
Availability? – Healthy
Elmo Tickle Hands
What do they do? – Large hairy red gloves for toddlers.
What makes it hot? – The right-handed glove vibrates when on any surface, creating a "tickle" effect.
What should I look? – Big hairy red gloves with Elmo's face on.
Availability? – Healthy, a decent seller, but not as in demand as the original Tickle Me Elmo craze that started.
Apple iPod Touch
What is it? – The latest, greatest innovation of Apple iPod.
What makes it hot? – Now with up to 64 GB of storage, the third generation iTouch adds more space for music, movies, apps, and much more.
What to search? – IPod Classic simplicity of form touchscreen.
Availability? – Healthy
Nintendo DSi
What is it? – The next evolution of the premiere of Nintendo's handheld.
What makes it hot? – Built-in cameras and audio / processors open up a whole new dimension in portable gaming.
What should I look? – The same compact box of the original DS, but with a lowercase "i" attached.
Availability? – Healthy

I bought a Barbie Girls MP3 player for my daughter and there is a code that does not work?
It comes with a 20 letter / number code. On the website there is a You can place that code for extra modes, b dollars, or pets. We type in that code and it says that the code does not exist. We tried entering it a few times a day, with caps on, caps off, spaces, no spaces, one of a number of different ways will not work. Please help!
Hmm I take it back. Most things Barbie made pretty crappy anyway. Buy her a Fisher Price FP3 Player (no typo, that's what their name). They are easy to set up, great for kids to use (they have icons the songs in case the child can not read), and will not break when it falls on the ground.
