The first ever Barbie was made in 1959 and cost $3.00. I was looking on eBay the other day and found one selling for over $500! I was pretty stunned! I would like to hear other people’s opinions on this subject.

(That is if they are still unopened and in mint condition) Originally, those action figures cost about $1.99 at most stores. But, most of the people who bought them back then, opened them up and played with them… that’s why UNOPENED ones go for so much money today (because there are so FEW unopened ones out there) and also because Star Wars has A LOT of fans. Obviously, a lot of those fans are rich and have a lot of money to spend on stuff like that…
