How to get hair gel out of Barbie Basics?
I have been collecting the new Barbie dolls Basics, and recently I bought two with short hair cuts. While The promotional pictures show a soft, loose hair, both of the dolls' hair in fact have been so bad that their hair is hard to touch and very stiff gelled. I was wondering if there a way to remove the gel without ruining their hair (or provide an even more horrible new style)?
You should wash out. 1. You can do this with regular shampoo and conditioner 2. Baby shampoo is said to be working very well, because it is intended to soften the skin 3. Many restaurateurs also recommend Barbie softener on clothes for her doll. Leave the Barbie doll's hair in the wash for a while. I suggest you to wash it with warm water. If your doll has straight hair and it gets fluffy / Swollen after you wash, you can cook a perm. First, testing the doll's hair, given its newer Barbies soft / shiny hair that goes well in boiled water. Some older dolls be thicker (less glossy), which sparkles in steam. Hold the doll head on the steam and as the bubbles to stop. If the hair remains intact, you can continue with the perm. To Straighten hair 1. Wash hair 2. Boil the water 3. When the water is warm, stick the doll hair (not her face could damage the paint) in the water for a few minutes. 4. Receive a separate bowl with cold water, and stick it to her there a few minutes too. 5. Let the hair air dry:. Curl's Items:-Straws cut into about one centimeter (Thin straws straws work well and make nice curl DOTW Barbie Irish dancer, bulk work too, but they make huge curl)-Pins (no safety pins)-bobby pins (Optional – Helps hair in place, put a bobby pin on each side of the straw) 1. Wash hair 2. Wrap the hair straws in the desired style (dry or wet hair, wet easier) 3. Stick pin curl straw like the place 4. Boil the water 5. Stick doll hair for a few minutes 6. Receive a separate bowl with cold water, and stick it to her there a few minutes too. 7. Let hair to air dry (usually 24 hours.). You can visit her in front of a heater (in a good distance to keep her from rendering / burning), too. You can blow dry, but the hair is usually not in place, I personally prefer a small heater. 8. Undo the curls * overtime, loose curls a bit, but you can spray the curls to keep instead more links. Happy hair: styling!
