Conference Bridge provides a different kind of nocturnal activity. Home to an estimated one and half million Mexican Free Tail bats, Congress Bridge provides a nest site when they consume approximately thirty one thousand pounds insects a night!
The home of the University of Texas, Austin packed with high-tech companies and educational facilities.
Adventurous tourists can comfortably sightsee in Austin during their stay "green." Guided Segway tours of the city include many miles from the center.
The Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary, located just outside the city limits. One of the few non-profit zoos' in the country, the Austin Zoo began as a goat ranch. Expanding their programs to save his animal, the Animal Sanctuary has grown to over 100 species. Special animal exhibits, including some wolf hybrids rescued in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike can be found through the building.
