Benefits of handmade soap over mass-produced soap
It is true that sometimes natural soap and mass-produced handmade soaps may appear similar, but this is not the case. It is a false notion that the ingredients used in the mass-produced soaps are natural and harmless. Some well-known brands of soap to use chemical substances that are of inferior quality and may prove harmful to the skin. Some strong chemicals such as laureth sulphate (SLES), sodium (SLS) and parabens or chemical preservatives are used in the production of bulk bath soap and body products.
Handmade Soap: Glycerin is obtained by the saponification procedure and provides excellent moisturizing effect is a naturally bi .. Glycerine is added to the duration and body products such as skin ointments and creams, which would fetch a higher price. The commercial glycerin soap manufacturers convenient to eliminate the production of soap. Compared to them, natural handmade soap has liberal amounts of vitamin E oil, wheat germ oil. These oils have high amounts of antioxidants that lend a longer shelf life.
Handmade soaps are blobs of natural oils such as jojoba oil, a balancing effect on the skin healthy skin. Synthetic dyes added to handmade soaps. Natural colors as obtained from lavender blue. Natural dyes used techniques are available in natural color for loans to the soaps. These colors are skin-friendly and absolutely no side effects. Even though they have a certain amount of hassle involved, it is better to go in for something natural that would not be detrimental to your skin. Mass-produced Soap: Ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate, parabens and Sodium Laureth Sulfate are added to this soap so as to fill this soap. These chemicals may not be entirely safe for your skin.
Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS): SLS available is cheap filler, which lends bulk to the soaps and is widely used in the cosmetic industry. They are used in body products like soap, toothpaste and shampoo. The helps in lending a foaming effect and also helps get rid of oil very quickly. Hence, it is lavishly used, when it comes to bulk production of soap and soap products.
SLS can damage the eyes, especially if your eyes are very sensitive. It also results in sores in the mouth for ultra sensitive reeds, when used in toothpaste. SLS lends a drying effect on skin and hair. It is recommended that people with sensitive or dry skin, avoid products with SLS. It is recommended that SLS free and unscented soap for babies, because babies have very sensitive skin.
Parabens: These harmful chemicals are rapidly absorbed and then stored in the body. It is considered that parabens are also found in cancerous tissue. The long term effects can be disastrous and it is recommended that industries stop using these in their production.
