Faith in Humanity Burns Bright
With seven of our nine children still at home, a quiet Sunday afternoon is a bit of a rarity, so I guess I should have known that when we passed a few weeks ago that it could not last. I was not expecting a phone call from our security company informing me that the fire alarm in my company was activated and that I had received the Springville City volunteer firemen at the site meeting. I hurried to the office and was very thankful to find that a false alarm. Almost immediately I felt guilty about the 15 men who had voluntarily left their homes and families to come, with all their equipment and vehicles, on my support. I was and am so thankful for this happy, dedicated men, for their professionalism and willingness to serve our community.
Ronald Reagan said, "No matter how big and powerful government gets, and the many services it provides, it can never take place. Volunteers "We can all recall scenes from the news or from personal experience – filling sandbags neighbors to ward off flood water, blood drives, fundraisers, Christmas charities, search and rescue, community celebrations during the summer. In only a few weeks, an army of volunteers will descend on the planters along Main Street Spanish Fork spring bulbs to be replaced with summer flowers.
That is the nature, inheritance this beautiful area we call home. Every year, tens of thousands of hours donated to our cities, our state, our religious organizations, our neighbors and friends. The cumulative effect is a greater sense of unity and self-esteem, satisfaction and gratitude. Volunteering arouses feelings of solidarity with our fellow human beings. A University of Michigan study finds a person that voluntary mental and physical health increases. In addition, studies have shown that children who volunteer with their families are much more inclined to their service as adults remain.
Thank you all who give to others through volunteering. Mother Teresa gave this advice: "To show great love for God and our neighbor we should do no great things. It is how much we love doing that makes our offering something beautiful for God. "I renew my commitment to making a difference through volunteering. Together we will enrich each other, our communities, our families and ourselves.

What is this Barbie worth?
I have a special Christmas edition 2000 Teresa doll. She is in MINT condition and so is her profession. I think they might be worth are many. Those who sell on eBay are priced at about $ 60, but since its a buy now option I do not know if anyone will actually buy. I need someone's opinion about my price barbie and perhaps someone with knowledge.
The book I (2004 printing) says that your doll is worth, mint no box 15.00 45.00 mint in box I'm not sure how much value would go up (or down) in four years, but this is an estimate. The trick to selling your doll is to find someone to pay a lot you set your price. Just because a book says it's worth it, do not get the prize unless they are willing to pay. Good luck with your sale.
