Collectable Barbie
There are two dates in a collectible Barbie that I have. Follow the date on the neck or lower back?
I have a couple of Barbies from the 70's 80's and 90's, and I have a small problem. There are two dates. One in the neck and one on the lower back. The one on the lower back on ALL Barbie is an older date than the one on the neck. WHO date do I follow? Please help.!
These are both "template" data, they do not tell you about when a particular doll was made. The date on the lower back when the mold that made the body is created / copyright. The date at the base of the skull is similar to the mold that made the head. For example, organs and 1976 heads were sold in 1966 all the way to the middle of the year 1990.
