Learn to Collect Dolls
Young girls are not young girls, unless at least one doll in their toy box. But today, dolls are more than just a young girl play thing. It can also be a source of joy for an adult. And adults, which may seem really strange but true, collecting dolls look in their windows.
What a doll collection without the most famous and hottest Barbie Collectibles? Most female adult doll collectors of this average age is 40. Mattel saw the opportunity for these adult market and in 2004 they launched a system labeling system that would help collectors find what they were looking at a simple glance. The colored labeling system consists of pink, silver, gold and platinum labels. The Barbie dolls that are labeled pink mass-produced. The pupae of the World Series, the Model Barbie dolls, dolls and pop culture are those who fall into this category.
The Barbie dolls that no more than 50,000 in number around the world are labeled Silver. The Silver Label, the following series: The Wedding Edition, Ballet Barbies I dream of a season Anniversary Barbie dolls and Barbie dolls.
Those covered by the Gold label more than 25,000 pieces worldwide. Designer Fashion Model Barbie dolls, Pin-up girls, Designer Bridal and Vintage Repros' all fall under this label.
The last and rarest among these labels is the Platinum label with less than 1,000 pieces produced worldwide. The Faerie Queen, White Chocolate Obsession, and the nurse Barbie fall into this category.
Other doll collections that might be worth would be worth the pre-1930 antique dolls, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, Terri Lee dolls (1940's-1950's), China doll (which is a subcategory of antique dolls), and The American Girl dolls, dolls that countries or regions, the German antique dolls and dolls representing the Mundia Collection.
Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that are simply and very often their price to $ 3,000 for the rarest pieces removed! They are hot on most doll collectors because of their designs and variety. Terri Lee dolls are vinyl dolls in many designs and models from the oldest about 40 or 50's will easily fetch thousands of dollars a doll collector! China dolls are one of the perennial favorites of doll collectors. China dolls are made in Germany and they come with glazed bisque (which accounts for their shiny appearance). Most china dolls' faces and dyed hair. And the biggest thing about China dolls is their rarity. Most of them were produced in 1830 until the late 1890's.
The 18-inch American Girl dolls continue each American girl favorite. Mattel (the makers of Barbie dolls) makes American Girl dolls. Different eras of American girls are represented by these dolls. Mattel makes American Girls dolls that are from the years 1940 to modern day. And just like Barbie, the colors of the puppets are made to the owner match.
German Antique dolls are one of the best in the world. They come in addition to France in the era of making dolls. The French people began making dolls, but soon fell in trade. They passed the craft to Germans and the Germans, in turn, excelled at. Kewpie dolls are still collectors' favorites, as are other porcelain dolls.
When it comes to doll-making, the French were considered the pioneers in the craft. In the early 1800's, the French doll makers dominated the world of doll making. The dolls were Mundia made by French doll makers. Their most striking features are very feminine and luxurious clothes and clear skin. These porcelain dolls seem to have an inexplicable look that distinguish them all other antique dolls and all new doll on the market today.
Dolls are an important part of childhood for every woman. And if they choose to the wonderful imagination she continued with her childhood doll, or if she just wants to her passion for collecting rare items, it does not matter. Dolls are a girl (or woman), constant companion.

Where can I sell collectible dolls?
I have an R. John Wright Pocket Tigger I'm trying to sell, but I'm not sure where to go to try collectors find. I've tried Craigslist but this is an expensive doll. Anyone who collects these dolls by accident?
