What should I collect?
Collections can range over many different items, from everyday objects to obscure and exotic items. A woman in Missouri who collects Barbie's might think that the collection of books seems odd match. However, the woman in Florida that collects books that correspond to each hotel she has ever traveled to her collection is invaluable. This race of her books to recall the memories of her travels. So who's to say what is really normal or weird?
Some collectors may collect lunch boxes, while other collectors can collect all that Mickey Mouse appears. Some people think that everything of value that people collect can be considered a collectible. This is not necessarily true. There are some people out there that phone books to collect. Now some people might not consider this a collector's item, because a phone does not really hold a value because they are usually free to the public. However, a collectible item considered as valid as people are willing to pay money for the item. The old adage that "one man trash is another man treasure" certainly applies to the collector.
Collectible items can be found almost anywhere. Today the popular place to buy and sell collectibles, eBay. A collector could spend hours pouring over hundreds of auction ads for the collection of your choice. Collectors can go to shows to buy, sell or trade collectibles trade. Collectibles can be found at antique malls, flea markets and, Of course, the ever popular garage sale. Garage sales an American pastime. A person can go to a garage sale and see nothing but trash, while another person may find their new favorite collectible to add to their collection. Again, the important thing to remember is that if someone is willing to pay money, it's a collectible.
Just as important as what you collect is how your collection is displayed. Collectors have whole rooms dedicated to their collectibles. toy train collectors will spend years compiling a complete train setup complete with buildings, trees, streets, people and, of course, the train system. Others will use their whole house to spread their collectibles. Anyway, collectors with the greatest pride in their collection, regardless of what they collect. Collectors are aware that if lost or stolen, some of their collectibles are irreplaceable. Insurance companies are additions that can be added to homeowners insurance policy to insure have a collector's collection. By the age and rarity, some collections are so valuable that their own insurance.
Most of the time, collectors not begin to thinking: "I'm going to start collecting something … I chose tea cups!" Instead, they simply feel drawn to tea cups, and are impressed by the many different types and styles. From there, the lover will start hording teacup teacups that he or she sees in the yard sales or in store. This is how a collector is born. If you are always looking for a specific item, or you are intrigued by the idea that all of the different types, see some more information. If you find that many different types of item that can be bought and sold, then it might be time to let the collector in you!
Collecting items of value has become very American pastime. This is also a way for the older generation to pass a piece of history to the younger generation. It is important that this hobby remains an important part of our culture so that history can live from generation to generation. So, if you feel the urge to collect something, irrepressible as a sort of strange compulsion. Embrace, and do more research and shopping to find out how to become a real collector. It's a fun and rewarding hobby.

My daughter loves dolls like she has a huge collection of Barbie's, Can you tell me where do I get?
Check consignment shops — they sell new dolls still in their original box. In the past 6 months I have bought seven new dolls in their original boxes for $ 1.00. I collect dolls and other toys and I always 'check' the junk shops first. I found a new Jackie Kennedy Barbie doll a few months ago.
