History of Fountain Pens
Fountain pen consists of a reservoir of water-based liquid ink. If The fountain pen uses a cartridge instead of the built-in ink cartridge compartment is called pins. The oldest historical record of a pen dating from the tenth century. In 953 AD the Caliph Egypt, Ma? D Al-Mu'izz demanded a pen which an inner reservoir of ink which would not leak on his hands and clothes and finally delivered the ink to the nib had.
Although prices of the pens have increased there are many people throughout the world that still use of it. There are also disposable fountain pens available. Fountain pens are considered works of art. Pen lovers gather a wide range of pens, straight from ancient to contemporary. They do not believe in the preservation of antique pens in a glass case, instead, use and maintain them well.
There were three major inventions that have led to wider use and production of the pens, they are iridium-tipped gold nib, hard rubber and free flowing ink. The first fountain pen was made with the three most important inventions came in 1850. The nibs were used before the iridium-tipped gold dip pen nibs. The fountain pens today use pens made of stainless steel or gold. Most used gold content is 18 carat and 14 carat.

Fountain pen cartridges have a small ball of plastic inside the ink exit hole in the possession of chewing gum or a light layer of plastic.

Half of those things you can find at a Wal-Mart. You have a better chance of buying all those things at a Michael's Arts and Crafts store, or hobby lobby. Also, go to Google and search for "Art Store" and the name of the area you live. Can your results for nearby shops and art should be left for directions. That is how I found all the arts and crafts shops when I moved to a new place.
