Barbie dolls have become a tradition. Is a tradition makes you a collector's item. The specialty dolls are very popular and can be very valuable as the years pass. For example, the Holiday Barbie is normally hard to come every year. A person is to ensure that they are in front the line where the hen is on the shelf, if not, they will not get one because they are usually sold out.
The Barbie doll was released at a toy show on March 9 1959. This has become her birthday. She has since been nicknamed Barbie. The wife of one of the co-founders of the Mattel toy company thought of the idea. They name the doll after her daughter Barbara. It was because of Barbara Ruth had the idea. She watched her daughter several times to play with her paper dolls who assumed the roles of adults. During that time only made dolls that were produced as infants.
Random House published a biography of Barbie. The biography reveals much about the Barbie doll. Her real name is Barbara Millicent Roberts. She was born on March 9, 1959 to George and Margaret Roberts. They all live in a fictional city known as willows. The biography goes on to take Barbie's boyfriend, high school, etc. By the way, her boyfriend Ken Carson. Over the years, produced many companions for Barbie, and they include friends, family, siblings, etc.
Barbie has experienced many careers in recent decades. The career that she participates in general reflect current times. For example, in 2010 and expect one Astronaut Barbie Barbie to see a Registered Nurse.
Barbie dolls have caused many controversies in recent decades. It is criticized many times. It is said that the Barbie doll is unrealistic ideas for the body of a woman.
Many little girls have idled Barbie, but they say they were caused a poor self image, because the girls can not meet the perfection that Barbie portrays. Mattel answered back by increasing the waist size of Barbie. More recently, the release of "Totally Tattoos" Barbie caused controversy because of the "wild stamp" tattoo.
Barbie dolls have been in production for decades years, and they will continue to be produced. We now see beyond the tradition in the third and fourth generation with a great-grandmother, grandmother, mother and child playing with dolls. Mattel has seen the value and still produces collector dolls that can be found on their website, Barbie collectibles.

What would an old Barbie doll collectors in the world doll worth?
I have a few old Barbie doll collectors. They are called puppets in the world, and I'm thinking to sell them. How much can each be worth?
It all depends on what you have Barbies. They can be up 25.00 to 175.00 (MIB) and 8.00 to 65.00 (MNB), depending on what you have and the condition she is in. It would help to have the type of year and if possible determine the worth. The next step would be to someone to pay the asking price you want, and whatever medium you would use to sell them.
