Can not lose weight? It's time to stop Feeding Your Demons

If you can not lose weight, the answer is simple. Or it can be hard.
Maybe you really just eat a little too much. Simple. Savings.
Maybe you just turned 40 and as much as you hate to admit it, you never have the body you had 20 years ago. Hard to admit, but with the right food, you can still have a slimmer figure.
But what if you have a long – perhaps even a life – Struggle with weight. And by that I mean a serious weight problem, not just five pounds or so.
I'm no doctor, I am not a psychologist, I am not psychiatrist. And I'm not giving medical advice.
But I've seen enough people in recent years to form this opinion.
For people with a lifelong weight loss problems, the right diet can help. But it is usually not on diets. Because it is not about the food.
Think about it.
Are you lonely, angry, depressed? Feeling guilty, rejected, inferior? Or even unworthy of love or success?
Looking comfort in food because people in the lurch? Or maybe you feeling you've let you down?
Have you tried every diet there is and nothing seems to work? Or at least not for long?
Consider this. When a dip in that box of chocolates, it's food or an escape?
Maybe there is a sexual assault in your past. Maybe kids teased you mercilessly when you were young. Maybe your family always feel inferior. Maybe an ex-spouse – or a current spouse – made you feel unwanted and unloved.
You do not fight back. Maybe you can not – literally, could not.
So you have to food. For more comfort. To escape. For an excuse to drive away people.
Because if you 're fat, it's OK to be shy. Different. Being alone.
It still hurts. But in any case, you have an excuse to hide.
You say you want to lose weight, go on diet after diet, but if it is sometimes difficult …
… you take refuge in food. And it starts all over again.
So ask yourself this.
If you could go back to one incident or series of events or the period that led to your weight problem, you might choose to re- experience it all again just as it happened?
Or if you had the chance, would you change?
Because every time you escape with food, make the choice to demons to feed.
Relive what it is that hurts you.
Give people who bullied or hurt you to do it all again. And again. And again.
So you have a choice. Relive or live.
It's that simple. And so hard.
If you are not alone, look for a familiar friend. Or better yet, a trained professional.
But ultimately the choice is yours. Choose to let go.
Choose to live.

Do you have books to read Debbie Macomber Cedar Cove okay?
I just bought a "Drive 6 Reiner" and then learned there is a whole series of books this being the sixth. Is it important to read them, starting with a? I do not not know what is going on. Is it OK to read 6 and then go to 1 or even 3. Can you jump around or do you have to start at the beginning.
I have not read this particular series by Debbie Macomber, but my rule of thumb is to always read the books in the order the author wrote them. That way you can never miss. The last time I read books in the correct order, I was very sad because there were characters I did not think was mentioned in the previous books. Here is the order they were written.
