Disney World Dining … Character Dining Restaurant
Is a former Disney World dining agent, most of the incoming calls I received were the guests want to book a character meal. So what's the big fuss about them? Well, Disney World has done to the place where guests can dine and be entertained by Disney characters. The characters are offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner at certain restaurants. The only bad part is the amount of effort required for a reservation. Due to the popularity of the character restaurants, they tend to book quickly. At the time of this writing you can make your dinner reservations up to 90 days off.
Located in the Magic Castle in Kingdom, Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney World. Breakfast and lunch will be Cinderella and friends to meet and greet with you at your table. You get to dine while each character comes by your table and talks to you. They are available for photos and autographs as well, so make sure a signature book at hand. Photo packages are also available. Some kids love to dress as they dine with Cinderella. I mean what little girl does not love Cinderella? For dinner, only the Fairy Godmother is available, so it's a little less of a character dining experience. The Fairy Godmother does not meet and greet with you, they just kind of floating around. However, Cinderella is available in the lobby. How you choose, this location is a great dining experience for the whole family.
Another great restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Crystal Palace. Armed with Winnie the Pooh & Friends, this location is a great dining experience for kids. These adorable characters are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, you get round the clock fun of the 100 Acre Wood friends. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglett wandering around, meeting and greeting the guests. Give hugs, taking pictures and have a magical day!
Lilo and Stitch invite you to a character breakfast at 'Ohana, located in the Polynesian Resort. Did you mean Ohana "Family" in Hawaiian culture? Lilo and Experiment 626, better known as Stitch, extend their hospitality to you and your family. The decor is inspired by the South Seas – wood carving, stone tikis and Polynesian designs. The signatures, photos, food and hospitality, you feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'Ohana.
Join Mickey, Pluto and Chip & Dale at the Contemporary Resort for a great breakfast or dinner, Chef Mickey's! Minnie and Pluto is even a surprise visit. You never know who might come. This is definitely a dining experience you do not want to miss, especially if you have little ones. The characters walk around, meeting and greeting every table in the restaurant. Chef Mickey's even cooked up the 2004 Disney Magazine Reader's Choice Award for best overall Walt Disney World Resort restaurant for kids! Join Mickey and his friends for an experience you'll remember for a lifetime.
At the Tusker House, located in Animal Kingdom, Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy invite you to Donald's Safari Breakfast. Only the breakfast, the characters on this site. This is an African themed restaurant Harambe in the village. Kick back, have fun and do not leave without a photo and a signature of the famous characters.
Goofy and friends that a special guest performance Minnie Mouse can include, can all be seen at the Cape May Cafe. Located in the Beach Club Resort, this restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast and dinner in a lively beach-themed environment. The characters are only offered during breakfast hours. Catch the characters in their beachwear handy while walking around to each table greeting guests.
Hollywood & Vine, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, is the restaurant to visit if your Little Tikes. The character breakfast and lunch buffet consists of: JoJo and Goliath from JoJo's Circus and June and Leo from Disney's Little Einsteins. Enjoy Playhouse Disney sing alongs of familiar melodies, dancing and playing. There is no doubt that your kids will love this lively restaurant!
The character restaurant is seen on most of the time the Garden Grove, which is located in the Swan resort. Because most guests like to dine with the main Disney characters like Mickey and Cinderella, this dining location is sometimes forgotten. If you are not able to dine in the more popular restaurants, you may want to look at the Garden Grove. On selected days, this restaurant offers & Timon and Rafiki Mickey & Pluto. Not a bad combination right? Two Disney characters appear at night and on Saturday and Sunday. The target = "_blank"> Garden Grove has an incredible backdrop. So, if you find yourself in the character choices for dinner, leave the Garden Grove an extra choice.
Gather for an enchanting dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. Located in the Grand Floridian Resort dining location offers breakfast Mary Poppins, Alice features in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, and Winnie the Pooh & Friends. Dinner, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella Cinderella III A Twist In Time. This is a dining location, the whole family can enjoy!
Located in the country in Epcot, the Garden Grill is a revolving restaurant you look out the window and enjoy scenes fron the Living with the Land attraction. The characters in this dining location, Mickey, Chip & Dale and Pluto. Do not worry, the revolving restaurant will not make you dizzy. You will also be distracted by the fun you'll have at a dinner with your family and the characters. Bring your camera and autograph book if you want physical memories you'll cherish for a lifetime.
The character of restaurants in Disney World are not to be missed. There is just too much pleasure and excitement to go around. Make sure to grab your reservation in advance if you want to dine with the most memorable characters from Disney World.
