Orlando has Disney Fun and more
Pair Orlando vacations are not complete without at least one day spent with the king of all amusement parks. But once you have visited Disney, and had ridden all the rides you fill candy, hot dogs and soft drinks, what's left? In the Orlando area, you're in luck!
Area Orlando is one of the best in the focal points in the state to see and do it all. The day trip possibilities of this particular locale are incredible, plus there is plenty to see and well to do in the greater Orlando metro area as well.
Things to do in Orlando and its immediate surroundings in addition to Disney include:
* Sea World. This theme park centers surrounding aquatic life. The animals are great and there is much to do here.
* Church Street Station. This historical area is home to a number of night clubs, but has many restaurants, shopping and entertainment to be found here.
* MGM Studios. Tour the studios and enjoy the rides such as different types of theme park.
* Kissimmee / St. Cloud. This area just outside Orlando proper is home to a busy strip filled with activities that include restaurants, entertainment, arcades and more.
* Medieval knights. Step into the past at this dinner theater with a caustic old-age theme. The food is incredible. The show is even better.
* Cassadega. Also known as "Psychic Central," this community is a short drive from Orlando, surrealist streets and unique attractions make it worth a drive.
If you would like a bit more of Florida than to see the major tourist destinations, Orlando is a great starting point, too. With its convenient central location, the most points within the state within a few hours away. Except for the extreme south and the Panhandle, the most points are ideal for day trips.
Here are some other Florida attractions at Disney after the fun is over:
* Daytona. Only about one hour or so from Orlando, the Daytona / Ft. Lauderdale area is home to some the best surf of the state action.
* St. Augustine. A relatively short drive from Daytona, this is the oldest city in America. Things here are great, including of an old fort made entirely from Coquina.
* Ocala. The home of the Ocala National Forest this location is great for camping, hiking and hunting.
* Sarasota. The home of the Ringling Brothers Museum and numerous cultural attractions, Sarasota is a bit of a drive from Orlando, but it's worth the gas to check out.
Kennedy * Space Center. Almost a straight shot across from Orlando, this destination is a lot more fun than many would expect. There is nothing quite like seeing a rocket up close and personal.
* Tampa / St. Petersburg area. Home to some beautiful beaches, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and the Lowry Park Zoo, this area is worth the hour drive or so sure.
Disney is one of the biggest draws Sunshine State, but the pleasure of the park disappear, do not fret. There is much to see and do on a vacation in Florida.

Can a family of three can have fun at Disney World for one week?
My mother does not like wild rides and they do not want to go to one. But my sister (12 years) and I (age 16) love them. How can we ensure that our mother did not feel left out when we go on rides? Should we invite others to join? How can I make everyone happy? My mother agreed to the Cali River Rapids ride! So that's a start. Oh, I have not shaved it yet, but I'm just scared they will be unhappy. I do not want that to happen on vacation. We're on a budget, but I still feel that we have fun. My sister and I will not to ride rides all day, because we plan on spending the vast majority of our time together. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.
just go on the rides Your mother might also like maybe do a wild ride the carousal than a wild ride than dumbo way your mother feel so left out. Make sure you look at the things they want to see like the shows and maybe she'll get a kick of having pictures with her favorite character. See if you can get her in the shade with a drink while standing in lines.
