Hannah Montana actress gives up Quest for Normalcy
There's quite a price to pay when a celebrity at such a young age. biggest teen Today's stars to sacrifice leading their normal lives in exchange for all the publicity and hard work they have to go through just to get recognized. That is the case for Emily Osment, who appears on the popular Disney series Hannah Montana. She said that her efforts to achieve a sense of normalcy in her life were much in vain as they had this year school she has been attending to her ninth grade left. This was due to the very busy schedule she has with the show, which she and her co-stars now get private lessons on the set.
Osment admitted to the New York Times that being a celebrity does cause a lot of hard work, adding that "It is difficult to manage."
The 15-year-old actress became a familiar face after her current stint with Hannah Montana, where she Lilly Truscott, Miley Stewart / Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) plays best friend. This is not her first major act act as though they debuted in 1999. But it was Hannah Montana that led her to where she is today. Sure, fame has a price to pay, and Osment, like any other teenager idol, to handle the pressure of the press and the rest of the internet population blogger.
The sister of Oscar-nominated actor Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Emily Osment appeared that she was disappointed to see that "hundreds" of bloggers posing in her name, and is not happy when fans take pictures of her walking down the street in her gym clothing.
Despite all these, the young actress is grateful for the chance that Disney gave her in Hannah Montana.
"Disney definitely sets a fanbase for you" she confesses. "That's the biggest thing."
Her father and manager, Michael Eugene Osment says he does everything he can to keep his daughter grounded as she grows in the spotlight.
"We do our best to try an average American family," he said of his children and wife, Theresa, a teacher. " When we come home from work we do everything from doing the dishes after dinner to cleaning up dog poop in the yard. "
