Bangkok Dolls & Museum, a remarkable exhibition of handmade Dolls
Located in Pratunam, Bangkok, the puppet show in the museum are the works of world doll makers give meticulous attention to detail during the creation process. Each design is planned after extensive research, where antique costumes are based on ancient Thai legend, Thai temple murals and other historic illustrations. The unique feature of these dolls are all the materials to delivered locally.
Traditional costumes the dolls represent different levels of village and rural life in Thailand, the farmers at work, villagers in traditional folk not even during the holidays, hill tribes in their colorful display of costumes, vendors sell their harvest, the models of Khon dance, traditional drum dance and more. The special feature in the museum is the presentation of the Thai version of Ramayanaya portray the struggle between King Rama and Ravana. It has 35 characters on the scene with a 3 meters long set.
The quality of the dolls in this museum is represented in the accolades they have won in international competitions. As a result, these dolls were seen in other international museums in Paris, New Delhi and Chicago. If visitors are interested in dolls in international costumes, this site has a separate section offers everything from Australia, South Korea, U.S., France, Russia and Turkey, etc. The gift shop is attached to this museum Factory sells dolls, while old and new designs are kept in the museum for the valuation. This place offers the perfect souvenir for anyone visiting Thailand and is open from 8 am to 5 hours each Monday through Saturday where admission is free.

how items maintain a dollhouse / miniatures / display?
for those who collect miniatures and stuff, how do you maintain in terms of store, keep it away from dust …? A location in your home that you designate for your mini collectibles?
I have a spare bedroom, that's my "mini madness "room. That's where all my" stuff "goes to my minis. It's a mess, so I keep the door closed, I finished my display around the house. I have built a corner cabinet for a number of them, others are on the bookshelves or tables. I even keep at least one working on a bookcase. I make all my pieces are one or way closed. Since I vignettes (short scenes), I usually have some sort of boxed housing to begin with. Otherwise, I use a glass dome for display. This keeps dust to a minimum.
