Disney's Princess line of merchandise continues to expand, from dolls to watches holiday-themed items
As the holidays loom, parents find themselves wonder what to buy for their children (leaving everything to Santa just does not seem to cut). A major player on Christmas lists, gift lists and for children a year-round, is always the Walt Disney Company. For the girls of the world, the Disney Princess line very attractive. It is constantly expanding to all of Disney Princess dolls for Disney Princess watches to record.
The Disney princesses are Ariel, star of The Little Mermaid, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine from Aladdin, Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, and Pocahontas, Snow White, Cinderella and Mulan their respective films.
Rapunzel, the longhaired fairy tale beauty, set to debut like a Disney princess sometime this year.
Many of the Disney Princess dolls are derived from classic characters – Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora, for example, dozens years and decades – while other characters like Tiana, from films that only a few years old. Ariel, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas and Teeter between classic and modern.
The Disney Princess line came about in 2000 when a manager employed by a lack of consumer products in the market, Disney Princess's noticed. Fast, Disney began releasing products with the princesses of various popular films.
Initially, the product of the Disney princesses included Princess dolls, videos and sing along clothing. However, after much success, Disney began releasing Christmas Products Disney Princess, Disney Princess watches, video games, movies, Disney Princess Pez dispensers, board games, Disney princess and even bandages. All in all, there are reportedly over 25,000 products based on this franchise. It is difficult in a toy store without finding a number items that bear similarities to the Disney Princesses.
The Disney Princess line is also shown on the Disney Cruise Line and Disney on Ice. It remains a staple of the theme parks, including things like breakfast with the princesses and meet and greet events are very popular. Girls more than three can also be made into a princess on a number of parks.
While most Disney Princess Disney Princess dolls and watches are officially limited to the princesses in the franchise, some characters like Alice in Alice in Wonderland, or Tinkerbell from Peter Pan in merchandising.
The Disney Princess line has merged two things little girls love: Disney items and royalties. This makes Disney Princess dolls and Disney Princess Christmas items ideal gifts for the daughter or niece in your life.
