When I was little I was very busy – as I imagine most little girls. At six years of age I had my toys, my fire station with a real bell, my fire trucks and other cars, my paper dolls, my coloring books and large box Assortment of Crayola crayons, my picture books and stuffed animals. One of my most important possessions was a 'working' toy which was my ceramic pig that served as my personal banker. This pig controlled my destiny to some extent, because when there was enough change inside of him, I went to downtown Bridgeport with my mother and guess what? I got a new toy! Now I was on seven and saving every penny to a Toni doll. Did you know you could perm her hair? I could not wait!
And then, like a flash, I was not going on seven, but turning 10. Another house, another city, yet so many interests and passions! I had my hand held sewing machine and hours creating outfits for my dolls. The Toni doll was still around, but unimportant, small Vogue dolls were my passion. I figured a way to use my own paper patterns for their clothes. I loved my patterns because they involved less sewing than store bought doll patterns. That was good for me as I was more interested in adding details such as lace, trim than doing a lot of sewing. The exception to my rule was the wedding dress for my big doll Vogue. I went all out and sewed feverishly, dreaming of one day when …
I was incredibly busy. I had my violin practice. I had my last Little Lulu comic to read. I was in the midst of the Nancy Drew mystery books that I had convinced my mother me now. Oh-I had on my next Girl Scout badge work next Thursday. Yes, so much to do and so little time. I'm always at least three days in my diary, but I should continue taking my life!

Feel the energy, passion and determination of the child? It might surprise you to realize that each of us, the child, with her energy, her passions, her potential for greatness, is still alive. It can travel back in time to find what really sparked us. It may be a number of creative reinvention to find out how we wonder our young people themselves to use in a form that will work now. Let me with you now share how I investigated childhood positive energies and their retrieval with a colleague.
I was talking to Nancy Fredericks. She is a corporate consultant and the co-author of a wonderful, empowering book for women entitled dancing on the glass ceiling. As we shared our passion for encouraging women to their strengths and potential (What I call finding the song of your soul), she shared with me how often she thinks the secret of personal essence that lives in our past.
She remembered as a child make potholders. She loved making them, but after a while she had an awful lot of potholders. She gave some away and still made them. Then she began to think there was a reason for these potholders are! She began selling them to neighbors. They sold! She made a lot more. She got the idea from the tender her friends in making potholders. It worked. Suddenly she had a big booming business.
Here she was a third division, "the pot holder first mass-production line in its vicinity." She began to make profits.
In her book, Nancy goes on to say that by recalling this aspect of her youth that she came into contact with an idea about her heart Purpose: ". a love of business and a talent for managing people and achieving results "
Nancy's child is so obvious. A business entrepreneur the making! I will have to play with my child and to tease out some of the energy that still wishes to be treasured in this part of my life. That's OK. I'm not in a rush and a part of restoring our earlier passions-now a life that Nancy labels: "Full Passionate, Fully Alive" – there is time and care.
Why do not 'play' with your child for a while too? Choose an age or a few centuries and get back to those priceless man to know. I suggest you a list of all the talents, strengths, and to keep potential if you find yourself reviewing your younger.

Blones have more fun: a myth?
I've never believed in the media status of blonde women are the picture of idealism. Often the media painting them if these women are what all men want other women jealous, and so on. Even in interviews, women claim blond women what they wish they were, but my Spirit has some serious doubts about that one. Cultivation on the west coast I grew up with experiences of seeing Asian women as the true ideals. They were treated as heavenly maidens: femme fatales, damsels, princesses, belles, popular girls … more the media alleged were blonde, but in reality, I noticed that Asian women were the real male fantasies. I was signed with the times I had longed to be an Asian girl Liu, like Lucy, because the female, pop-like, graceful and exotic-ized they are. Has anyone else shared passion of admiration for Asian women? Any thoughts on my theory of the Blonde Myth? Do you believe or understand my point of you? Disagree? Yes? No? Thank you, everyone!
