Collection of antique bisque dolls is a hobby, some people go in. Bisque dolls are usually referred to as the porcelain dolls. Until the 1860s, were made of porcelain dolls. These were glazed and looked like China.

The composition of bisque replace the material that was used for the dolls. But since bisque dolls antique dolls have a similar history in general, contemporary collectors continue to collect it.
The dimensions and characteristics of antique bisque dolls vary. As the heads of the dolls are made of bisque, then these are considered antique bisque dolls. But because the weight of the material, most antique bisque dolls are not completely bisque.
If so, they would not just heavy, they would also be vulnerable. The smaller antique bisque dolls were a hit in the years 1800 to lift the year 1930. They were called the penny dolls. The dimensions vary from antique bisque dolls from ½ inch to full size, which is about 5 meters high.
There are companies that continue to produce antique bisque dolls as a result of demand. All throughout history, these dolls are still produced. Most bisque doll factories are located in France (because this is where these dolls started.).
Then in manufacturing companies moved to Germany around 1880. In 1900 there were users in the United States. At the end of the 20th century, China has their own factories which require manufacture antique bisque dolls.
Almost all bisque dolls made today are made in China, except for those rare antique bisque dolls that most collectors are looking for high and low.
