Indiana Amish Country is a little piece of heaven
Growing up in northwest Indiana, my family and I visited Amish Country on a constant basis. My parents always called it a'small piece of heaven. "We would normally go Nappanee at the end of July so we could enjoy the annual humanities and crafts vacation. My grandmother would buy a new handmade Cover each year that we went. Touring the Gardens quilt is completely fantastic. There are so many beautiful covers are made of clear and colorful flowers. We would always stay at the Amish Acres historic farmhouse where we can enjoy live entertainment and mouth-watering family style dinners.

Amish Acres Restaurant Barn is the highest grade for eating experience of Mobil Travel Guide. Many also argue Indiana's best meal that be! You dine in handcrafted, antique tables when passing around platters of ham, beef and chicken with pots of soups, fruits and cakes for everyone to enjoy. When walking through the city you should be aware of many home bakers, home decor shops, eateries and antique shops. Nappanee was immediately time appointed by TIME magazine as'One Best small towns of America. "For many people, especially men, McCormick Creek Golf Course is a big attraction with the 18-hole green.
Amish are known for their beautiful hand-carved furniture. They make beautiful beds, dressers, swings, and more. Almost every piece of furniture in my house, and a few of my family members is handmade Amish furniture. There is a cradle made by a very talented wood artist, as we call him, has shown that it is passed for nearly 20 years in my family. Every baby in the last 20 years my people have slept in, and all babies for the next 20 will be too!
All excellent food, excellent hospitality, beautiful furnishings and wonderful places to see are just some of the reasons why I still to this day call Country'a piece of the Amish sky. "I do not think you eat better, find better people, better built furniture, beautiful gardens and more anywhere else. That's just my opinion so take a trip See for yourself!
