How to Pick a good quality fountain pen
For the average person primaries are simply a tool used to write something. For someone with a pen collector or enthusiast of pins in his possession a special meaning for them. If you have ever been able to hold in your hand or a nice Sheaffer Cross pen you will understand that there is no comparison to a typical ballpoint pen. For possession of an excellent quality fountain pen shows that you have impeccable taste and quality. So how to choose a quality pen?
First you have the history the pen to understand. If you decide that owning a luxury fountain pen is a requirement you must figure your price range and what kind of design you want. Many companies will pens in more than one base color, so you could to get something besides basic black. The next thing to decide is your choice of nib. If you want superior quality then you do not want just a steel nib. Try something with 18k gold and a special engraving.
