Montblanc George Bernard Shaw Writer Series – Limited Edition Pen – a Collectors Dream and an appreciation of the Investment
Since the year 1992, Montblanc has dedicated a one year to write tool once a great writer in history who is recognized worldwide for their literary genius. Not only are the pins dedicated to the author, but his artistic inspired by the life and work of the author give any Writers Edition pen a unique story and personal history. When designing Writers Edition pens, Mont Blanc always goes one step further to make each piece a bit more value. A finishing touch and tribute to the author's personal signature is engraved in the side of each cap. The most recent addition to the Montblanc Writers Edition pens is a beautifully marbleized dark green lacquer is divided by platinum into a series of rings that progressively from point to extend the cap. The pen is signed by and dedicated to George Bernard Shaw, an Irish born composer and literary critic but a dramatic playwright. Shaw spent most of his life in London and wrote more than sixty plays in his life. Pygmalion is probably one of the greatest works of Shaw and of the highest recognition. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1926 and an Oscar in 1938 after producing a scenario for Pygmalion. An important symbol of George Bernard Shaw Writers Edition pen is engraved flower on the tip of the pen. This flower is the symbol for the flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, one of the main characters in Pygmalion.
George Bernard Shaw Writers Edition pen is a nice homage to a great writer of Mont Blanc. Shaw was a brilliant satirist in the 20th century, when humor and playfulness were a loss. Shaw was a conservative man and not much public attention to the greatness or recognition when he had a form of social evil and inequality. However, his lovely wife, the impact factor in Shaw to accept honors and awards pay tribute to Ireland, his home. This is a presentation frame, the certificate of authenticity. Only 475 were commissioned for the Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee in 2002 – this is number 198. Ebay and is not specific enough, I want to know where I can find people with a genuine interest in these things?
