What makes a valuable Vintage Poster 'valuable'?
Vintage Posters carry the essence of "yesteryear". Usually more than 50 years of age or older, these posters display society and its various aspects in an art form. In a range of topics from food to literature and entertainment, sports, travel and vintage posters are similar to what antique jewels mean for style buffs.
A Vintage poster, regardless of the theme on which it is created, carries along an interesting insight about the life and times of the people in that period. Although they come as working on behalf of advertisers, the best commercial artists available during that period, This scale works of art far beyond its simple posters, for the next few years, they will memories of the period, focusing on a widespread problem of time. They are art objects that an important story of our past.
Should not be forgotten that most of the original Vintage Posters were destroyed during their actual usage. They were mounted on walls or just torn and thrown on the availability of the next song or picture. While hundreds of posters in editions, only a handful survived in their original state.

Lasagna Recipe Vintage Better Homes and Gardens?
I lost my favorite recipe from a cookbook my grandmother gave me. I know it was Better Homes cookbook and Gardens, probably published in the year 1960 as a souvenir edition. The special was lasagna recipe on page 166. Does anyone else have the same recipe?
Well, it is page 182 in my mother's old BH & G cookbook. I can not tell you what year it is from someone other than the 50s or 60s, because the first few pages are gone and the binder is held together with carton sealing tape! But some of these recipes are the same as in my edition of 1982 and some are completely different, so I kept both books. Lasagne (note how the spelled with an e at the end!) 1 lb Italian sausage, bulk pork sausage or chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tablespoon chopped parsley 1 tablespoon basil 1 1 / 2 teaspoons salt 1 1-pound can (2 cups) tomatoes 2 6-cans (1 1 / 3 cup) tomato paste 10 grams or wide lasagna noodles 2 12-ounce carton (3 cups) large-curd cottage style cheese 2 beaten eggs 2 teaspoons salt 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons chopped parsley 1 / 2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 pound Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat. Add next 6 ingredients of meat. Simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally;. Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender drain, rinse in cold water. cottage cheese and next 5 ingredients. Combine Place half the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inches baking dish, spread half the cottage cheese mixture and add half the mozzarella cheese and half the meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake in a moderate oven (375 F) 30 minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Makes 12 servings. I hope this is what you were looking for after all this typing!
