Evening Majesty
Closer to Your Majesty And Psalm 93
Psalm 93 reads from the New Oxford annotated version of the Bible:
"The Lord is king, he is dressed in majesty:
The Lord is clothed, he is girded in strength,
He has drawn the world shall never be moved,
Your throne located in old;
You are forever.
The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
The floods have lifted up their voice,
The floods lift up their roaring,
More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters,
More majestic waves of the sea,
Majestic on high is the Lord,
Your decrees are very sure,
Holiness fits your home,
O Lord, forever.
A central theme of this psalm is the certainty of the presence of the Lord, contrasting to the churning seas and everything else that is the width of uncertainty is quite inevitable. No way to the uncertainty of our condition and striving in all known escape will not get very far toward us from where we are, entirely dependent on our next width for life.
We are uncertain, even the true qualities of God, because the borders of our mind can only go so far to understand. Our approach is uncertain to the Lord's there is sufficient information available to accept the words of this Psalm, the Lord is clothed with majesty, which we distinguish by the awesome sights of nature itself and the created world, the earth, but also to the sky and the stars in deep space.
We can adorn ourselves with what we feel is a little more, a little more success, a little more knowledge and we call ourselves smarter and better, but we can never really on the mantle of majesty. But that will never circle around a limited forum when the truth is, is found in the majestic presence of the Lord and to the presence or absence of the Lord and what we define as success or what we are also striving to do, the only route to the majestic when searching for the personal presence of the Lord. Maybe we should think widely about what this could be because it is not configured for everything from the traditional thought processes and even nature itself reveals incredible diversity, the gifts of God can be incredibly diverse and the Lord does what he wants.

And this is really a humble way for it to recognize that the majesty of the Lord as being what it is, what is more, like the majestic sea in this Psalm acknowledged the truth that the Lord was more like they lifted their voices to him. Ask for more does not affect the presence of the Lord as the seas lifted their voices to be more in the presence of the Lord, although they had a large part of their own had majesty. Majesty seen felt and heard no compromise close to the Lord there is no reason to fear him if it arises from the unwavering source.
