What do you do with a dog that has nipped someone?

My dog is fab when I had a little baby. if the baby grew, she developed an interest in the dog. He has allowed her to cuddle and stroke than if hes gets up enough, but the other day that he was entangled in her hair and gasped. This shook me up when he is so good been in the past. He nipped her on the face near her eye looks like maybe it was worse than taking it for granted that he could have real damage. My dog means everything for me, but I can not get out of my head what he has done. I have kept them together because each and not allowed him free rein of the ground floor, as he usually does. Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions?

id never let a child anywhere near a dog unless I held her while she was tapped him. This is because small kids are annoying and they dont leave. look at it from a standpoint of dogs. arent little kids are soft, they are catchy and touchy, and small hands are places where the dog isn't comfortable as his face. a small child actually does have the bully a dog to annoy. the only way a dog can tell a child they annoying it is growling and / or biting – it means that an aggressive dog. how her head was so close to the dogs face, unless he actually came after her? does my advice – dont ever let any child around a dog, unless under direct supervision. and I mean, unless you keep the child away from the dogs front end, but for one or two minutes mnute. so a small child running around with the dogs, even friendly ones, whether you go themselves is irresponsible and stupid ..
