HUE Festival 2010 from June 5-13/2010
Like the Avignon Festival in France, Adelaide Festival in Australia, Edinburgh Festival UK and others, Hue Festival, staged in Hue – the ancient capital of Vietnam, is preparing for its biennial cultural and tourist event
With the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development "and to celebrate the millennium anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, Hue Festival 2010, is a grand, impressive and spectacular event to be with hundreds of exceptional cultural and tourism programs to enhance the unique cultural values of Vietnam and Hue ancient capital. The festival will be a promising venue for old cities and the world – cultural – historical cities, a prominent arts and cultural forum of Vietnam and the region, in collaboration with the expansion of international exchanges, socio-economic development and promotion of Vietnamese tourism development.
To promote the continued success of this country and the world-class cultural event of the Festival of 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and together with the aim of improving the quality and professional arts, Hue is ready for hundreds of thousands of domestic and welcome international visitors to Hue Festival 2010 to be held from 5 to 13 June 2010 in its beautiful and ancient city. (Hue Festival 2008 attracted 150,000 domestic and 30,000 international visitors from 75 countries and territories).
The charming and seductive space of Hue Citadel at night will continue to serve as the center of Hue Festival. Here visitors to various arts performances, the royal palace at night to admire, attend banquets, royal look exciting and smart games. In addition to the Citadel, the satellite cities and many other places in the city of Hue, including a palace Dinh, Nguyen Van Troi Park, Thuong Bac Park Park, 3-2, Nguyen Dinh Chieu footpath, Thuan An Resort Lang Co Beach, Thanh Toan Tile Roofed Bridge, Phuoc Tich pottery village in this district Phong, Nam Dong town, A Luoi District, Memorial Park of the hero of the nation Quang Trung – Nguyen Hue, the holy Princess Huyen Tran, and other locations will also serve as festival stages with brilliant, beautiful and lively arts performances, traditional playgrounds, gastronomy areas from early morning to late evening.
Hue Festival 2010 opening ceremony will be on June 5, 2010 at the Ngo Mon Square and the closing ceremony on 13 June 2010 on the Huong River with innovative and impressive performance. To warm and welcome Festival Hue 2010, the most fascinating, interesting and diverse forms of fringe events will take place prior to the opening ceremony.
Hue Festival 2010 will be a show place for the most extraordinary art performances in Vietnam, especially Hue royal art performances and other exotic Vietnamese are from different sub-cultures, art performances with cultural nuances of the five continents represented by a large number of countries and territories around the world (including France – the main partner), Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, Central Africa, China, Denmark, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Laos, Mexico, Mongolia, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States of America, etc.). Hue Festival 2010 will continue the tradition of re-enacting unique Ancient Capital of Hue royal festivities continue with large, well staged and exciting performances.
