Great Women of homeopathy
As a homeopathic consultant for many years, I find the inspiration of homeopaths for me to be of encouragement and desirable. Two great women stand as a beacon of light in our world of medicine interest group that is so prevalent in today's world.
Dr. Dorothy Shepherd my mentor posthumously, was an English physician practicing in the hospital clinics and emergency rooms after WW1. They used conventional methods taught in medical schools, hospitals and clinics. Then, as luck would have it, she learned of homeopathy and homeopathic doctors through veterinarians empire in England at the moment. After her full attention to the study of this large quantity of medical literature, she began to slowly integrate into her daily practice in the emergency department and the clinic where she worked.
As WW11 rolled and trauma was a common honestly, it depends entirely on its new drug entirely. Dr. Shepherd has advanced to using homeopathy full time, they never return to the ways of the old " again. With a full staff to call her, she taught and instructed them in the homeopathic protocols for all emergency situations including pre-and post-operative procedures. Its conventional antiseptics were replaced by C alendula, her bones were broken protocol for managing Arnica, or bone setting. Conventional painkillers that the effects out side were replaced by Hypericum, Arnica and Ledum. Fever cases were Belladonna, psychological trauma was treated with monkshood and Gelsemium. And her case load was not light. London and surrounding areas, where they were practiced with frequent bombings, so her experience was like working in a MASH unit, with only poorly prepared citizens.
Her work was one of diligence and dedication to her patients and dedication to the vocation of homeopathy . And indeed it was a vocation in stature. Her writings are documentary evidence as a beacon to the flow of conventional modern medicine. In her book, she lit her day to day experiences of her transformational thought carrying her away from drug-laden medicine homeopathy. Here is a woman thoroughly trained in the ways of her professors and colleagues, who found it frustrating and tools causes more harm than good. Before its transformation into a more rational medicine clinic found her a source of frustration and ill-prepared for the huge numbers of people who overflowed its doors. And so they found a solution homeopathy.
However, Dr. Shepherd is not the only symbol of hope, applauded and easily used homeopathy. Mother Teresa, a Catholic nun awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, was a crusader for the medical care of the poor in India. She used homeopathy on the side of conventional medicine, but she had a special interest in homeopathy, because the effectiveness and low cost. Therefore, she learned her sister ministry of nursing to the poor treatment with this drug from the historical fame. She and her sisterhood his reputation in the market have set up tables on the streets of Calcutta with their repertoires homeopathy kits and ready to attack the needy. They treated scabies with sulfur, arsenic iodatum skin infections, with the grieving Ignatia (named after St. Ignatius) and wounded with Calendula. She opened her first medical homeopathic pharmacy in Calcutta in 1950 and her next, the Missionaries of Charity continue her work around the world today.
Is it any wonder that these women were faithful to their perspective worlds. They had inner strength, penetrating minds and hearts that are suited to the welfare of mankind. I do their work in people with the courage to stand against the forces of cartel medicine. They are to be simulated as they are the bearers of the good name of homeopathy and welfare of humanity.
