Experimenting … New to Make Up?
In order to the point, I am new to makeup. (-_-) I'm your pilot barbie! I'm Filipina-American, I olivey smooth skin, light brown eyes, thick lips, fat cheeks that my love for her aunts pinch, dark brown (almost black), wavy. I wear tight librarian-like glasses. ( @ _ @) The thing is, I've always been a tomboy and never had an interest in makeup. I want to hear something new! I guess I'm asking is … I have a hint on where to start with this idea. Like tips on colors, tips for …. starter? I would like to give my eyes more for sure. I really do not want to end up like my friend though, her face looks cakey much of the time! I just want some simple fashion tips with light make-up. 
I have olive skin and brown eyes so the light is best for your eyes Color of course, as old ladies nude / natural shades to wear. The best colors to give your eyes are gonna be purple and green, but do not let that keep you from experimenting with all colors, because you never know, just stick around a few good hand or face lotion and tissues to wipe the errors (believe me I love makeup and wearing his already years and simple lotion and tissues is the best makeup remover and it's good for your skin), for your eyes black eyeliner, both the top and bottom covers, the best liner The Summit was black liquid eye shadow and actually works better under seal. Not to be rude or anything but I'm just guessing that if you ever worn makeup that you may not be picked your eyebrows before so if you have not you should definitely do before attracting so much attention to your eyes, unless you do not to.Other good colors for you might also rose because you have dark hair and red, you could go with a slight blush as you wanted, but make sure your skin color is no color looks orange, it will wash your face, your lips should try a simple gloss on top of the lip stain, I would say a dark color, but what you think looks good on you.and as your friend and her face is probably cakey because she wears too much or too much foundation or powder and you're right this is a bad idea, you do not use it as one of your pimples, etc, you always have your face washed and spot treat pimples and use a real cover-no powder or liquid "foundation" Mascara is also important, unless your eyelashes just outta this world you have a Some of the shadow, because the control of color on your eyelid will take away from the fullness / darkness of your eyelashes, any kind of mascara is enough good enough you can get fancy, but the only thing that really changes is the nature of the brush so finding the brush style is always good, I find the comb style, the only important thing about black mascara is always not brown or another color unless you go for a colorful look, but personally I colored mascara is a bit too far. As far as a start up kit, not really one, you just to "Sephora" the best make-up store I know of and is ready to blow at least a bill for a decent makeup and you have all the basics: eyes, cheeks and lips, but remember makeup is expensive for a reason, really expensive stuff makes a difference when you with the cheap stuff you get what you pay for and I've always been very disappointed and wanted I just had the extra money paid to the quality of the product to get this stuff goes on your face and make you in your own artwork, make sure the good stuff and not just a cheap buy. Stay away from NYC brand until you are able to determine the makeup and the quality
