Treatment for severe flat feet in children
Flat feet (also known as "prenated foot" or "flat feet") is a condition in which one or both feet do not show a normal arch when standing, walking or running. In childhood, all children seem to have flat feet because of a soft thick pad on the foot. After time, however, that fat pad disappears and you will be able to discern when a clear bow to the child. With the foot flat-footed children may appear normal when sitting, once, but the weight is applied to the foot, will it roll forward at the ankle to create the appearance of a flat or fallen arch.
Flat feet are usually painless and threatening. Unfortunately, in severe cases, a prenated foot condition can cause pain or pain in the ankle and foot. If your child complains that they are experiencing foot or ankle pain, it is important they see a foot specialist to determine the cause identified. The doctor can determine if flat feet are the culprit, rather than more severe hip or knee problems. In some rare cases flat feet may actually be the result of fused foot bones. A simple X-ray can determine if that is the case. In some cases, the child can benefit from using a custom orthotic arch support or heel the foot will resituate and relieve discomfort. Surgery is a common treatment for children with flat feet, nor is activity avoidance. Most flat-footed children live normal life, sports and runs just like children with normal arches. Treatment is really focused on relieving pain, and not permanently correct the bow itself.
When searching for orthopedic inserts to treat pain your child's foot, looking for quality that will provide long lasting comfort. Custom orthotic insoles are generally the best choice. You want an insole that will cushion the foot, absorb shock and transfer to a lot of shoes of the child for a consistently comfortable fit. How to deal with foot pain caused by foot?

Flat feet (or low flat feet) can lead to over-pronation, a biomechanical imbalance that could lead to serious problems over time. When people who suffer from overpronation standing or walking, the arch collapse with every step they take and the ankles roll inward. Pronation itself is not wrong if we need to pronate and as part of our gait supinate. Pronation (rolling in) acts as a shock-absorbing process and supination (rolling out) helps to propel our feet.
