His coats, hats and rain gear a necessity for your Little Dog?
Since Mother Nature provides the dog with its own outer fur coat you might think why bother with something else. Small dogs, but they lose body heat faster than larger dogs. Small, short-haired dogs such as Chihuahuas and Miniature Pinschers have almost nothing in the way of nature keep them warm in colder temperatures. For these dogs as a necessity to provide them with something extra for the cold, blistery day out. For other breeds, such as a thick-coated Shih Tzu, they are completely optional, but will also help the smaller sizes to keep their body heat in colder temperatures.
When buying a jacket for your dog use the same good sense as when you buy your own coat. Look for good construction. Wool and micro-fabric to retain warmth. If you live in a climate that experiences cold winters tend to look for materials made of wool and fleece. Make sure the coat covers the dog enough to keep him warm.
The coat should fit the dog comfortably around the neck, chest and sleeves. Pay special attention to these areas and measurements when purchasing a jacket. Were not used as a sweater does stretch. Exact fit will be important than when buying a sweater.
What is the cost of a good dog coat? Designer dog coats can cost several hundred dollars. A coat purchased from pet shops to a store and there are many of the same, can retail for $ 20 or less. The Lycra suits are not as attractive as a faux fur or leather jacket, but your dog will most likely love the warmth and comfort – A bit like you're wearing a pair of sweat in contrast to the tight jeans!
Who would think that a raincoat would be handy for a dog? They most certainly can useful for your dog. Short-haired dogs can quickly become unhappy in the rain, and like chilled to the bone. If you live in a rainy climate, your dog would probably appreciate a sort of rainwear. As with all other dog fashion, the choices can be overwhelming, there are so many of us today.
Hats and caps are just cute on a dog, but similar to that cute little dogs. It is true that man most of their heat loss by heart. Dogs are not much different. A little hat or cap can also help your dog to the body heat retention in colder climates.
Purchase of hats or caps that attach securely in place. A chinstrap is useful. The hat or cap should fit comfortably around the ears of the dog. Dogs have different sizes and shapes of heads, a custom hat or cap will not fit all.
Now that your dog is dressed perfectly for your specific climate, have fun strutting down your favorite trail!

How were you a fur coat without ruining the coat?
It's not real fur …. I would never ever wear an animal. But its one of those winter coats Abercrombie. I usually wash it once in the washer and dryer, and ruining the coat. Is there another way to wash them?
I would to the cleaners. You do not want to risk ruining take a nice fur coat. If you feel you should do your washing in the bathtub with water and soap and hang to dry. I, personally, would do the cleaners.
