Divine Charle'nee: artistic music with hope
Singer / songwriter Divine Charle'nee is set to debut Soul / R & B single "Ride with Me" from Island Def Jam label Digital Distribution September 1. According to her, eager for her release and she loves R & B music, but said: "Music is more than a generation. "According to her, music is about connecting all genres and brings the love of all in the foreground.
When Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Nipsy Russell and Ted Ross premiered in the movie "The Wiz" in 1978, Charle'nee was just always interested in entertainment. "When I started, I am five years old and I loved to dance, "she said." I would do shows. [One of the shows I remember] is to perform "The Wiz" for my elementary school. "Performing was important to her at an early age.
By the time she in her early teens years, began Charle'nee songs writing. "I remember sitting and just wish I could rap like Sugarhill Gang and I loved New Edition," she said. "That's when I really started to feel music. "During the 1980's music remains important to her. She said the original hip-hop movement" fueled her inspiration.
During her childhood and teenage years, Charle'nee found strength through music. It was not until 1991 when she knew music was the direction she wanted to follow. "I was in a group called the Black Onyx and then we cut to the B Girlz, "she said." [At that time] Mary J. Blige came around. She was and still is one of my mentors. I love her style music and fashion. "In addition to Blige, Charle'nee finds inspiration in other artists and groups from the year 1990, including TLC, Boyz II Men, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot and Faith Evans. She said that these artists remain important to her today.
In 1994, Charle'nee her debut album called "Da Flow." The album Gospel was one of the two album releases. (Her second album "Love," released in 2002.) "I was a Christian gospel rapper," she said. "I a lot of marketing on the West Coast – from small and large store room performances gospel radio stations, "she said." I did all the footwork putting my music in the stores. "For Charle'nee, the importance of promotion was to reach people through her music.

"He is nonverbal. Whatever I can do to help and all my children, that's where my heart lies. I want to help through my music. "
Divine Charle'nee will release her upcoming album "My Body – I Want You" on Island Def Jam digital distribution. Her single "Ride with Me" will be sold in digital outlets including Rhapsody, iTunes, MySpace, Amazon and tune core.
