I once had a beautiful set of bright treasures
That lit my house with a smile so white
That player got dirt on my clean tile floors
And walked in and out and hit the doors.
But the tiles are clean, quiet doors top
All Grown Up And those kids I love
Far away from me, they live
Long ago were here when I could give
But now I'm old and remember them
And their grandfather? They remember him
A grumpy old who had to stop
So he would not miss the news of the plight
That news I can not remember
But their child faces and curly hair on their forehead
So I can see if it was today
If I would have played
I never once got on the floor and played soldiers
With my grandson I had a molder
Of his life, but was only part of the struggle
And cut his tender mind as a knife
I have my granddaughter afraid
Will only remember my anger sear
And no tenderness and joy of seeing her around
It was really in my heart to tears to absorb
And horses to play next to the fireplace
To give her, me, in her heart
Through these tears of regret I know
I had a life full of gifts and brand
A life full of good intentions that I could show.
But things were more important than
Work. The TV bandit. I forged a house of tin
And now I pay for my sin
As I see clearly what I did
I was the most important
So I filled myself with me, man common sin
And worst of all, I see what it could have been
But time has marched under a relentless Mon
Not wait for my good intentions to bloom
Because they were planted in a garden of barren soil
Amidst of my concerns and wishes and toil
I hope my children and grandchildren will forgive my mistakes
And their children and grandchildren sing my songs unsung
Time and give them powerful, living the full attention
Not distracted by worry too insignificant to mention
So now I leave you with a number of retrospective thoughts
That made me into the wee hours of sleepless toss
Realizing every chance I had missed so subtle missed
And stolen from my soul and tightly clenched fist
Time is slowly and subtly stolen from our lives
Hidden beneath our jobs, worries, desires and disputes
We must thieves identified
And burn them with the leaves
Do not grow old like me and realize too late
After your children, mother, father or spouse to assume that gate
Maybe this is a poem will be some effect
To properly learn you not to neglect
If only I could go back to hands of time
And kiss their faces more and play with them every day
And touch the curls and the smell dirty feet
And walking on those dirt they brought
And listen to those cheap toys they bought
And hear the slamming doors once again
And not always get annoyed
Fortunately and pumped and joyed
Only by their presence and their sweet rooms are not so neat
And go watch ants work or a kite acorn
Or a Barbie clean her house
Or a plastic soldier or a fall as high fantasy
With respect to the sky, casting a shadow on a sunny soul!
What would I give for all that?
Giving your time, your love, your attention
If you just hear me out now and not wait
As time bandits slowly and subtly steal
using excuses and reasons and days and seasons
Until everything is gone and you have these sleepless sorry as I am.
Children are like olive branches around your table
And his great strengths and treasures
I realize that now!

How old are you? and do u still play with toys?
kiddie toys I mean. I love vending machines. You know that the species that toy. it's so fun bring the quarter and getting a toy! I really like the jewerly in these things. and I love that crane machines. its fun getting a hug, because I just love to get a prize! Sometimes I addited those things. $ 15 ive spent time trying to get a prize and failed. lol. and what toys did you love as a child and was still play? toys and games I still love and miss Polly Pocket, Barbie dolls Bop It 4 in a row, hehe sorry bubbles still love never to blow bubbles, I had one of those dolls ate that food. but I always wanted one. robot kitten or dog sticky goo glow in the dark stars Lisa Frank still love it! sticker books easy oven Anway you think it is good to playing with toys if your child an adult? btw im 24.
It's nice to play with toys and games, regardless of age, so do not worry about what a stuffy, boring person can think. I enjoy a game of Monopoly, my old deceased stuffed panda that my parents gave me and love to play on Playstation, etc. Have you ever Sylvanian Families assortment of toys? They are not cute, animal families with beautiful houses etc, I always wanted them but never had any.
