Happy Year

Mom and Dad: Years of love, loss and new life
My father and mother were deeply in love with each other, but they had their occasional spats. I remember an incident that I will call – ". The Gift of the Magi" My dad kept his loose change in his pocket in any king of the pack. When he put his legs on his footstool some of the change would spill out and go down beneath the sides of the pillow. I saw mother kissing under the control and placing the change in a jar she hid in the back of a cupboard. My dad finally began to change his miss. On day, October first, the day before the anniversary of my father, my mother accused him of theft. My mother was very angry and then disappeared into their bedroom and came with a small box that she placed on my father's hands. "Open it," she said. He did and there was a nice watch. She turned and went quickly basement with a armload of overalls into the set tub to enjoy. He slowly followed her. After a few minutes, I was curious, so I went downstairs. I found my mother sitting on the lap of my father, an old dusty wooden chair, and they were both crying. My father kept saying over and over the "I love you I love you, I'm sorry! "
I was seven years old in 1939, when the Second World War began and almost thirteen when it ended. Grandma King's health began to decline after 1940. They sold The house next door, moved to New York around Gram's relatives for a short time, then moved back to an apartment in the center of East Hampton and finally half built house two lots down the street from their first. Gram developed what we then called "hardening of the arteries in the brains," now "Dementia" and or Alzheimer's disease. " It took a terrible toll on gramps. Finally the doctor told my mom that Gram had to be put in the State Hospital for my Gramps's rescue. She was in hospital the middle of April 1946 and six weeks later she was dead. There was a big hole in my heart!
Gramps sold his house and came to we live. We all wanted him. My mother was a very appreciative live-in father. She would just mention in conversation at the dinner table to my father that an aircraft was in need of repair or even replace and gramps would go out and buy it for her. He had a good military officer pension plus some savings and he loved giving gifts.
He helped in the garden, cleaning the henhouse, collecting eggs, weeding the garden and doing other light work in the garden. Every once a month on payday, which fell on the last Friday, he would to town in March for his military retirement check, my father after work for a few beers and then drove home with my father for dinner. Immediately after the meal, Gramps's wallet came out and gave each of his grandchildren a fee, the amount varied age – so I benefited. Five dollars for me, two and three of Dolores Frank!
My last brother or sister, Celeste, was born in October 1944. My father wanted the Sea Bees, but my mother would have none of that. So five years after Frank's mother decided it was time for her "out of the design to have the baby, and I have a sister! My father was furious because his friends went to the Sea Bees. But since he was doing an important job to make elaborate defense mechanism widely used in wooden boxes to sensitive bombsights, plus my mom a call on the draft board, which my uncle Leon, Dad's brother, was a member, he was one year delay ship. By the time the year was in October 1945, the war had ended!
My high school years flew by with 4-H Club events, Grange events after I was fourteen, dance and musical performances. They were busy, but happy years.

Is it a violation of a user wishes a happy birthday, Happy Xmas, or even a happy new year?
I wish a happy Christmas this user received and accepted an offense. I even started my question by saying "I wish …" and yet that my offense was not a question. I warn My fellow users care if others do not seem to share my views on the spirit of Christmas, birthdays or even read the New Year I can warn
The has always been an offense to wish someone a happy birthday. I know this because of the horoscope section. Birthdays are important facts, and there are many others who know 'birthdays. People try the Happy Birthday sentiment as astrology question disguise, but it always seems to catch ya, and the question is deleted. The deletion is expected and it seems not to the questioner or the recipient – it's the thought that counts. But I am surprised to know that the Merry Christmas sentiment / question has been removed. After all, even with a YA Merry Christmas question. Http: / / yanswersblog.com/index.php/archives/2009/12/24/merry-christmas-and-happy-holidays / You might want to try to appeal the expulsion.
