Your wedding is the day when only the best will do. What could be better than organizing your wedding in a beautiful Scottish castle, where the atmosphere is steeped in history and style of yesteryear. Alternatively, there are many public buildings that now permits civil and available to rent for your wedding. Finally, some of the finest hotels in the world who can offer everything for the most magical wedding you can imagine.

Edinburgh Castle is an obvious first choice for your wedding.

There are four locations for weddings in Edinburgh Castle –

1. Gatehouse Suite – accommodate 40 people for a ceremony. No childcare available.
2. Jacobite Room – accommodate 100 people for the ceremony and reception.
3. Queen Anne Building – up to 120 guests and reception.
4. St Margaret's Chapel – 25 guests – a very intimate setting with no wedding reception.

Stirling Castle also makes a nice (and central) location for your wedding reception. At present there is no authorized license, but the Great Hall is one of the finest banqueting venues Scotland with a minstrels' gallery, trumpeters " and raised loft area perfect for the Highland Fling.

Attended a wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel, we recommend this wonderful Georgian mansion. This hotel has a civil license and has a capacity of 250. It can accommodate 60 people overnight. For large weddings, choose from the elegant Long Gallery, the magnificent orangery or the Millennium Ballroom that new gardens. Other luxury rooms are available for smaller weddings.

Atholl Palace Hotel, situated in Perthshire, with its civil and licensed capacity of 250, also makes a wonderful wedding location. Catering for 250 people, this majestic Victorian palace overlooking the Perthshire countryside towards Pitlochry and luxurious, elegant rooms and spacious public areas. For the bridal party, two elevated towers suites with lounges and a beautiful view waiting. This is a fairytale setting for your special day.

For something different, why not try the Hangar at Perth Airport on the outskirts of historic Scone. The extensive facilities include a fantastic feature suite for up to 250 guests, a wide range of options for catering and banqueting on your special day, a massive 250 sqm wooden dance floor – and tea is much on-site free parking.

Perhaps you're planning a small wedding – Glenapp Castle in Ayrshire has a capacity of 40 (again, holding a civil license). This magnificent, beautifully restored Scottish baronial castle has 17 individually designed rooms and suites and castle Surrounded by 36 acres of spectacular private gardens. civil and religious ceremonies can be held within the castle or in the garden and as a hotel, the castle is a romantic location for honeymooners.

Can a broken screen on Toshiba L300 laptop to be replaced?

I have a Toshiba L300and'm pretty sure it's just the screen that a bust ………. my buddy accidentally stood on it, while doing a jig Highland Fling! hows all, it has the appearance of cracked eggshell, but can see the mouse cursor over certain parts. A new screen can be mounted or is it a full laptop new job? advise

A new screen can be fitted, you can even do it yourself if you are careful are. It is getting the screen that's the problem, if you can find one is likely to cost two third of the price of a new laptop. I would look on ebay for a component repair or laptop as the most die if the motherboard is damaged, so a screen that does not look cracked or anything probably still work. The screen itself net is connected to the com, but you must take to tighten the hinges to get the screen and are often difficult to find the way to the screws, usually the plastic top Your keyboard will pop to allow access. You can not destroy something that is broken so why not? Hope this helps good luck.
