You barely have a chance to catch his breath after a busy and fun summer and autumn then come into your full power. The kids are back in school, the leaves fall and before you know it's Thanksgiving. If you're like most people, you will probably prepare for a big turkey feast with all the bells and call. The extended family will come together (hopefully without a fight) and everyone will be happy. When they all leave and you are stuck with the cleanup.
Now you can relax and get ready for Halloween. Enter the house and yard with witches and ghosts, buy a ton of candy, and again, it's over before it even really begins. Also Christmas you spend weeks or even months preparation alone, all over in one day. A lot of effort for one day of joy. We need to concentrate more on making each day special, instead of just a select few days per year.
You wonder why people do year after year. Tradition? Or is it just out of habit. Or social pressure. Everyone does it, you would feel strange if you have not done it. But there are some people right in your neighborhood who do not participate in these rituals. Whether for religious or other reasons, they have waived any holiday celebrations. Some do not even celebrate birthdays.
I feel sorry for the children of these families. How do you explain all the decorations in all the houses of the neighbors? All the lights? All Santas on every street corner? A million questions. The worst is probably after Christmas, when all classmates of the child talk about all the cool things Santa charged. This would a child feel really awkward and inappropriate. But, of course parents should be prepared. Nobody would impose such a burden on their children without full prepared for the consequences.

How busy it is usually on the last day of the holiday in Disneyland (Jan. 4)?
I've always heard that it is nonsense during the holidays, but I thought maybe because the 4th is right after the holidays and parents generally would not want to take their children to Disneyland the day before school starts again maybe it's less crowded? Me and my friend always in January, but mostly we later after the holiday decorations been taken down and we want to see, because we never like they were doing.
Last year I went for my birthday which was January 6 and it was not really bad, maybe a max 30 min wait on most rides, usually when it's cold or raining ppl is not go
