ORGANIZING TIPS for working women: Six Holiday Season Survival Techniques
It's the holiday season … So go to your naughty or nice? Sometimes, the pressure feels like a heavy, cold blanket of snow lay on top of you. Other times, the holidays a time for joy and celebration. So what can make the difference for you and others for years?
Many people put in approaches Scrooge in November if the shops change of Back-to-School Christmas to appear before you blink an eye. "I am a working woman, for heaven's sake, "You might say to yourself." Who has time for the holidays? "And if one more person asks you," Are you done shopping yet? "You're going Ballistic!
If you do not all wait until it's over and done with, you're not alone. I personally think the main disadvantage is the mess at this time of year. Not only the physical clutter, but the mental, emotional and time clutter as well.
The parties, family get-togethers, the obligatory gift-buying, the pressure to power the gift to make the year before, the running around and stand in long queues to buy things that nobody really wants to bake holiday cookies … all this on top of what you already have in your life! Some times it seems like it will never end!
How do you overcome these hectic times to the holiday season more meaningful, enjoyable time? Follow Just these survival skills, and be more organized and manage your holiday time more wisely. This allows you a happy girl instead be a Grinch!
HOLIDAY survival
1. IGNORE commercialism. The holidays have been commercialized beyond belief. You may find yourself less inclined to participate if you ignore the hype.
2. Questions and provide "CONSUMABLE" Gift Cards. This may include items such as dinner gift certificates, lottery tickets, a massage, a manicure, tickets, or a movie. This reduces the clutter in your life and gives you entertainment you enjoy.
3. DO NOT FORGET THE MEANING. Holidays were not invented to everyone crazy-trying to do each other the gift of buying power station. Take time to think about what it means to you.
4. PLAN YOUR celebrations. What holidays you, there are only 24 hours in one day. Limit yourself to only a few parties (hosting and attending) to avoid over-commitment. If you plan, you plan on only those things you want to do and that brings you joy.
5. Plan your decorating TIME! Not only on your to-do list. Actually schedule a time to decorate and to involve the whole family like. Put on some holiday music and drink some holiday libations, if necessary!
6. Use the containers suitable for the holidays. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors to make identification simple and logical (color coded for easy recognition, tubular containers that will easily accommodate rolls of packaging paper, etc.). Make sure you label all your containers. This makes the storage and retrieval for next year an effortless task rather than a chore.
To summarize, to organize, plan, manage your time and only do things that will bring you joy. That way you have a lot of fun and quiet time of year.
So make this results in an easy season. Goodbye to Scrooge and say hello to a relaxing and enjoyable celebration.

What are some suggestions for dealing with relatives during the holidays?
Things can be a bit stressful with parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Everyone wants to do different things or they can start saying bad things about each other. What are some ways to keep you cool with family during the holidays?
Since I have curly hair, I wore a hoodie and easily disguised my ipod! Personally I hated family holiday get togethers because my mother's husband is a psychotic asshole. The only thing that gets me through is that one year from now, I will not ever see these people, because I'll be off in college. As for keeping your cool, I just ignore them, but defend yourself if things get out of hand.
