Bullied? Three Surefire Tips From Anti-Bullying Marty McFly
This weekend, my girlfriend and I re-watched the entire Back to the Future trilogy What excellent movies -. each one is a classic!
I got to thinking about how the seemingly insignificant choices we all make in the course of an average day may have serious consequences and how major decisions could send reverberations far into the future. committed an act, combined with action can change the course of your life!
As you probably remember, Marty and Doc Brown hop past present the future in a time-traveling Deloiran. During their adventures, Marty and Doc have: matchmaker play Marty's parents, Hill Valley to avoid becoming a crime-infested cesspool, and rescue Doc from getting shot in the Old West. Any misstep could unravel history, and they are thwarted at every turn by some incarnation of the evil arch bully, Biff.
OK – Back to the Future is wonderfully entertaining – but you can actually learn everything from a 25-year-old sci-fi action comedy that?, I think.
Here's the Take Away:
* Appeasement never works. Marty's father, George, graduates of doing Biff's homework to do with its corporate projects. He let Biff takes his hat. Biff crashed when the McFly family cars, George was the one to apologize! 'Ol slap George just shrugged and tried to laugh.
LES-A bully will NEVER by your buddies – are pointless and counterproductive to even try to turn bullies2buddies you. Enter a bully on the requirements, and you are taken with greater demands. The extortion will never stop.
* The Bully WILL HAVE A TEAM – THEY will do this in a hurry to dissolve. Biff had back-up or middle school counterparts on, or paid henchmen, or a gang, and this multiplies the difficulty in preventing him or against him.
LES-The trick to disable this numerical advantage can be found in Zechariah 13:7 -. "Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter" If you can take the lead bully with a decisive step (which not necessarily be physical), or strategically undermine their social status and popularity, the bully power greatly reduced, and their posse will disperse
* Do not let anyone push you BUTTONS – STAY COOL! DO Marty had a 'fatal error'. This error led him consistently terrible choices, because it would have doomed themselves to a miserable life in the second movie, or even get killed in the 3rd! Marty's major malfunction? He went nuts when someone questioned his courage. When he was called a "chicken" or "yellow belly" or "coward", Marty would always take the bait and do something stupid.
LES-getting emotional flooding your brains with chemicals that prevent you from your irrational and clear thinking. If you let other people control you, you become their puppet, and you lose. Stay focused and you'll never be stimulated to play a game enemies.
