Ebay Auction Search Secrets: Get an unfair advantage over your competitors with these secrets
It's not easy being a living on eBay. It requires you to sell nearly all of the items you on eBay. The easiest way to do this is more quality traffic to your auctions. The more traffic to your auction, the more bids you get for the items that you specify, so the higher the average selling price for the items. For more money you should focus on more people watching your auction listings and bid.
Is there an easy way to do this? Yes there is. There are several ways to do this. You have two main ways people find items on eBay. The first is eBay, Built in search, and the second is the use of external ads that take you outside the eBay marketplace to tell people about your auctions.
When using eBay search for the required you just think about what other people will have to type while trying to find your products. I highly suggest that you do not acronyms in your auction titles. Some examples of what not to use: B & M (Brick and Mortar) BIN (Buy Now) CS (Customer Service) FB (Feedback) FS (For Sale) FSoT (for sale or trade) FT (Trade) FVF (final value Fee) HTF (hard to find) ISO (In Search Of) MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) MIB (Mint In Box) MIM (Make It Mine) NIB (new in box) NOS (New Old Stock) NR (No Reserve) NWOT (New Without Tag) NWT (New With Tag) OOP (Out Of Print) OP (Original Post). These values are not looking, because no one seeks obscure theses terms. You have a limited space in the title you your top key words to the product you are trying to sell. You have a lot of space in the actual provision of the type to know everything about the product without using auction lingo. Many people new auctions have no idea what these acronyms mean, and it can be confusing for them.
When you use outside the eBay marketplace marketing can do a link to your eBay auctions in your favorite forum, blog, myspace, facebook, your website or in emails. This is a problem for most sales so far, because you left your auctions to die shortly after the auction is over. But there is a new hope. By optimizing both the search and off-site linking you get a huge advantage over your competitors eBay. The shear amount of extra traffic you will receive.
