Toys and Why We Need a extra room
The world as we know it is really messed up. Mattel and Fisher Price, the people who brought us Tickle-Me-Elmo as the toy of past Christmas season, have allowed some of America's babies to play with and in their mouths, toys painted with lead paint. I agree with the statement that their managers the guidelines for the factory owners in China. Part of the directive was not using lead based paint, but someone must have followed that. This is not a case of putting the wrong labels on the clothes and not apply the American baby. This is an extreme threat to toddlers. How ironic that parents buy educational toys – which can cause brain damage, if – if change – them in their mouths. It will take some time before the company regains the confidence of the American public.
On the positive side, Fisher Price / Mattel has amazingly us Tickle-Me Elmo. He can laugh, kick his feet in the air after a fall on his back. He can then roll over and stand-up all by himself. He even does a somersault. All this with one arm attached to his body. Did I mention that he can talk. I can not praise him enough for his comic value.
Back to the negative. This Barbie is still a sexy thing for three to seven years old set. Sure her hair is beautiful and I think she dumped Ken last year, but she still has permanently ready to slip her feet into high heels for. She has definitely raised her aspirations of the desire to settle down in her house with Ken and drive around in her convertible with her hair flowing behind her. Barbie has become a modern girl. You can find it on the shelf at your favorite store wearing her white lab coat as she cares for animals in the vet persona. They appeared as a teacher, on horseback, as a gymnast, a ballet dancer as well as modeling its annual Christmas outfit. You can buy her dressed in costumes that countries around the world. Barbie Tickle-me Elmo takes as much as the kids do. It comes with a small copy of it. She carries a picture of him on her shirt and carries a purse with him peeking from the front of it and his face is on her belt buckle. He giggles when you press his tummy like the big one does acrobatic. The only warning on the box says "WARNING May Cause uncontrollable laughter. "I hope that indicates that we do not worry about lead paint to worry about this toy.
Let a fictional girl about six years old. For lol we'll name her Ruby Doo. She loves her Elmos (and I say Elmos, since the first of Elmo ten years ago, the Chicken Dance Elmo, Hokey Pokey Elmo, which is the next Elmo which is just filled and soft and looks cute. He must be called old Elmo. She lines them up and plays with one every now and then.
This week was her Barbie doll and sister Chrissy that keep her busy. I'm not sure which companies make all the traditional toys, but they are gorgeous and she loves making things with them. But the last advance that mothers sigh of relief has been finger painting book sells paint that will not be seen except on paper the idea was to show up. I think it is made by Crayola. For parents, I have a question for your toy?
Hi moms and dads! I am a designer working on new role-playing toys for girls. These include costumes, plastic tea sets, play kitchens … you get the idea. Here's my question for you … when you buy one of these types of items for your child, does she like a lot of character art tags (eg pictures of Barbie in all plates and cups of tea) on the toy or is she going for the decoration that looks more like real mommy?
I no character would say. My kids have never really a single character. Certainly, my son loves the "cars" movie, but I want it on everything he? No, you also hope that a "tea set" your child's fascination with Dora or Barney oulives. So, some things are good with characters, but not everything!
